So for example on those chairs. Slap some stain and polyurethane in one on those hand rests. Will look great and sell for more and only takes a couple minutes.

Why do some sellers feel the need to give you a personal history of every item you look at? Drives me a little crazy. Your sentimental attachment to an item isn't going to make me pay more for it or justify your price. Not trying to be mean, but I don't care!

Yeah, if you've never lost someone close to you or never had to make an unexpected move to downsize I guess you wouldn't understand how devastating it is. But to someone like me who has, it means the world to just have someone put up with a little short story about an item before they relinquish it. After all, you're getting a bargain and you're in THEIR space. Seems a small price to pay to show a little humanity imo.
