You should read the book it's based on, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Graham-Smith. One of the most hilarious 0:45 books I've ever read. Shame it didn't translate that well to the screen but the book is bloody funny (no pun intended)

It was the only way they'd ever get someone like me to watch and enjoy Pride and Prejudice 😂 Unfortunately I couldn't get my mom into it, who's watched every other P+P film adaptation and read every Jane Austin Book, so I suppose that they gained an audience at the expense of another 😂

Okay so the whole safety of Meryton fell on the Bennett daughters. Charlotte didn't do anything and of course Caroline couldn't be bothered. Lizzie picked her gown appropriately. Easy to hide zombie blood stains in a sapphire blue.

Kitty/Katherine looked the best arming herself with weapons, by spinning them around on her fingers and putting them in boots, as she's getting dressed for the ball. Lovely how they look getting ready for the ball through helping each other dress up.

It just struck me how the fashions they wore were pretty good at letting them conceal weapons. A gown that was tighter below the waist would not let them access the knives and such as easily.

This came out in 2016, Bridgerton came out 2020 but filmed it since 2019. So technically they came out before Bridgerton was a thing. I can’t this four times it’s rlly good.

I mean, this is based on Pride and Prejudice, which came out in 1813, and the novel, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which this film is based on, came out in 2009.

Fascinating that with all that battle their white gloves are unstained, the ladies haven’t been touched by a speck of blood, and all their weapons are clean. Poor editing/post production.
