Pride Mobility Go Go Ultra X 3 and 4 Wheel Review

Thank you, this is the best and most thorough review I've witness over the internet for all types of mobility scooters. You make me feel that I would want to purchase one. I'll just have to physically test to see if I'm able to lift all parts , being that I would have to put it in my car myself (a user of a walker).

Thank you for your kind words I very much appreciate it. That's the great thing about being able to go to a physical provider/dealer rather than buying blind on the internet. You can really get a feel for what you are capable of lifting and handling. Most people who come to our store think they can lift 30 lbs but when it's an awkward shape like a seat or a front section of a scooter things can change. Not to mention you have always got somewhere to go back to if something needs fixing or just to get some good advice.

Thank you Jamie, Pride do make a rear-view mirror for straight handlebars Part Number ACC134496 but you have to chop off the end of the handlebar grip to attach it. You can get a single rear basket Part Number ACCBSKT1010 that fits in the accessory tube at the back of the seat. Was wondering how the Go Go Endurance compares to the Ultra. Like the idea that the Endurance has a suspension system, the lithium batteries might be a good addition also. Thank you.

What is the little rubbery button beside the battery port?

Hi Carolyn and thanks for the question, that is the system circuit braker that protects the scooter from overload. Usually, it will trip if the batteries are at a low state of charge and if the scooter is going up an incline at low speed. The braker to trip and shut down the scooter to protect it from overload. If this does happen you would, turn off the scooter wait 30 seconds or so and press that button to reset the beaker.

Can you tell me what substantial differences there are between the Pride Go Go Elite Traveller 4 and the Go Go Ultra X 4 are? Thank you.

Hey Dave thanks for the question, if it was the previous version of the Ultra X there where many but with this latest version the biggest differences are: Ultra X is straight handlebar grip with thumb operated throttle. The Elite has a delta or loop shape handlebar grip with finger operated throttle. Ultra X has a mesh seat back and no seat back pocket where the Elite has a foam and vinyl seat back with rear pocket. The Elite has an option to upgrade the battery pack from 12ah the larger 18ah which would be cheaper at time of purchase and the with Ultra X Pride do not offer this upgrade. The Elite has two color (red, blue) interchangeable shroud inserts where the ultra X just comes in black molded plastic.

Can the seat post be easily removed to reduce the height for storage?

Hi Dave thanks for your question. Yes, the seat post is easily removable as well as adjustable (4 positions)
