Here are some key points: Genesis 19 (Sodom and Gomorrah): This story focuses on gang rape, not consensual, monogamous same-sex relationships. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13: These verses are in the context of worship practices involving Molech, suggesting the condemnation is of ritual same-sex acts, not monogamous same-sex relationships. Romans 1:26-27: This passage discusses idolatry leading to same-sex sexual rituals. To understand this, read the entire chapter, not just verses 26-27. 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:10: The terms "arsenkoitai" and "malakoi" are debated. "Arsenkoitai" is a term Paul coined, and its exact meaning is unclear. Many LGBT-affirming Christians believe it refers back to the Leviticus passages and the context of same-sex rituals. By examining these passages more closely, we can see that the Bible's stance on homosexuality may not be as clear-cut as some believe.

@@northernlights9637 . Christianity is fundamentally about loving our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and this includes all people, regardless of their sexual orientation. God’s love is inclusive and unconditional. As we are all made in His image (Genesis 1:27), every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Being supportive of homosexuality does not negate one’s faith in God but rather embraces His commandment to love one another. Judgment and condemnation are not ours to wield. Matthew 7:1-2 teaches us not to judge others, for we too will be judged. Instead, let us focus on living out the greatest commandments: to love God and to love our neighbors. Ultimately, we should seek to create a world that reflects the love and acceptance that God has for each of us. Let’s walk in faith, hope, and love, as we strive to build a community that honors every individual’s worth and humanity.

@@mahira5168 He didn't tell Lot and his family to love thy neighbor when he reigned destruction on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for their blatant homosexuality and Jude goes on to say this was set as a warning example for things to come in our time. Your thinking is so diluted and you are abusing God's patience as an excuse to continue in your sin...telling everyone to tolerate it....isn't happening.
