I cant believe my son age 10 found this on you Tube!. We are the ones waving the P&O Flag. We use to wave it to Pride of Portsmouth as we had lots of friends on the ship and it felt like our second home! We really miss the P&O ships that use to be in Portsmouth.

I remember being on the ship in 2005? and I was onboard with my father, and two sisters and when we were sailing to Cherbourg my dad tried to rip off a panel in one of the cabins thinking that there was a window behind it and I realised we were under the waterline and I shouted "NO!! DAD DONT KILL US" haha. Miss her she might be old but she looked beautiful.

i worked on this ship in 2000. was the best year of my life and had the priveledge of working on the hampshire and the other 2 of which im remiss to the names as this ship was the best. shame it had to go. nathan from poole

Hi I used to work on this ship too and the French ones. We used to get Booze of the Freight Drivers too. Such happy memories . I can't believe it's gone 😮

They let 3 go. The Olau twins (Pride of Portsmouth and Pride of Le Havre) were also great ships, but P&O only cared about Dover. 10 years later they stopped caring about Dover and sacked their biggest assets.
