You sure those aren't the same or at least similar as this one? as far as I know, Mizo's (Lusei, Hmar, Lai, Mara etc.) are the only tribe with a bamboo dance in India.

It is the most wonderful and beautiful dance I've seen. I love watching bamboo dance since when I was a kid. May be because my mom is Mizo lady ( they are really good in bamboo dancing) n as my papa is Lai ( they also have similarities bamboo dance with my mom) ya..apparently may be because both my parent tribe love dancing bamboo dance I love it n appreciate it.

Bamboo in mizo language would be term as 'mau'...... But the mizo society call it Cheraw..... a dance involving the use of bamboo.... Maybe other nation have a bamboo dance and they might not mind it... So Cheraw would distinguish the traditional dance from other dance...maybe it is simplier to call it bamboo dance but India is diverse and the recognition which the Mizo society could receive is through their traditional dance - Cheraw... The people of Mizoram would appreciate if you know them from their traditional dance.....which is Cheraw 😃😀 just my thought on the subject since you asked about it😊

In our Mizo culture, the are many types of bamboo dances. The one in this video is cheraw. It is usually dance by women. And for men we have a bamboo dance called Rawkhat lak.
