The race was won when Lindemann was scratched. No second pacemaker. I back Craig, why sacrifice your horse to drag the field up and have nothing at the end of the race? You’d think Waller would’ve planned for this having trained half the field, his attitude towards it has been disappointing.

Agreed completely. Mr Brightside got burnt by Pride Of Jenni in the Australian Cup 2 weeks before that. If he tries to chase her mid-race, his career might end as his tank will be emptied right out.

Am sick and tired of all the armchair critics blaming Craig Williams for anything and everything. Sorry James, they didn’t get the notice that they all had to help you win the race. Take at least some responsibility for your lack of action.

Willo’s confidence and pace judgement is gone. On speed, off speed, fast, slow… no clue against Jenni. Then the other muppets sat there like sheep, got what they deserved.

I don't blame Willo because he got burnt by Pride Of Jenni 2 weeks before that in the Australian Cup trying to take it up to her. Mr Brightside at least will live to fight another day. If he took it up to her again, he not only will finish last, but he would probably retire right there.

Absolute rubbish that it was Williams responsibilty to burn his horse chasing Jenni. If JMac on the fav. thought it was too slow, then it's his responsibility to go around and go faster - he didn't make a move until the 600 - too late. Then at the 50m he turns around and rubber necks the other jocks - he was embarrassing!!! When in doubt blame the visitors. Same thing when some Syndney 'analysts' called Melbourne form B grade - they went all right for B graders didn't they.
