IFHR has rated this the equal of Private Eye's best this season. I suppose she will need to reproduce it a few times, given her age and past formlines.

Pride of Jenni as a 3yo had 7 starts for 2 wins in provincials and 2nd in listed fillies race at Flemington. As a 4yo had 4 starts for a 2nd in G2 mares races, beaten 6L into 11th place in G1 F&M Empire Rose. As a 5yo had 9 starts for 1 win a benchmark 90 mares race, contested 8 group races for a 2nd in G1 Coolmore F&M and a 3rd in G2 Tristarc stakes. As a 6yo has 9 starts for 4 wins 2 of those wins in open class G1, the other in F&M Empire Rose stakes and an All star mile and 3 2nds of which 2 were in open class. So from age 3 to 5 could only muster 3 wins, the best been a bm 90 at caulfield. Talk about a late bloomer.

Good horse and great win, but the ride definitely won it. Other jockeys were terrible sitting back so far no horse can make up that ground.

If you look at the 200M sectionals, they could not do other than hope she slowed down. They would have had to run sub 11 seconds to make ground, which would have been impossible. She was simply too fast

@@brendanc2299 If you go watch Street Cry run..Pride Of Jenni runs just like him. Thats her grandfather. Zenyatta and Winx Sire is Street Cry. Thats where that gas tank came from.

@@brendanc2299 If you look at the sectionals PoJ ran the first 1400 in 1.24.22 The pack ran the first 1400 in 1.29.15 Nobody is saying the pack had to keep up with her all the way but they could have run the first 1400 of the race a little faster without much effort and if they’d just run 1.27.5 or 1.27 which isn’t all that fast then it might have been an interesting finish. The Sydney Cup horses actually ran the first 1200m of their race faster than Mr Brightside ran the first 1200m of the QE

Umm...you do realise that Frankel was also an on pace horse. He clearly beats Pride Of Jenni. Still though Pride Of Jenni was very very good. A bold and daring ride by Declan Bates. Question though, what were the other riders thinking....letting Pride Of Jenni get so far in front....30 odd lengths.

@JD-767 no but he still would of chased Pride Of Jenni down. She isn't in his league. People get far too emotional so easily. Pride Of Jenni isn't in Frankel's league, if she was then she would be winning comfortably margins wise and producing high ratings in every race she ran in. Frankel did that. All of that being said, Pride Of Jenni was very very good today. Amazing win.

@@F50Aircraft just a question , he was great but never left the NH ever . Just like Winx , she never left the SH . Put him on dirt hard Mooney Valley over 2004m in a Cox Plate . I doubt he remains unbeaten even against POJ , take her to the NH and introduce the donkey leader to set pace and she struggles also . Frankel was a good horse , no doubt but like Winx never left his shores . POJ is the horse you wanna own because well you know shes going to give you everything she has .

I saw all Vo Rogue's races and he never led by as far as Pride of Jenni did in this race yesterday. Secretariat's 31 length win in the 1973 Belmont Stakes is the only performance by a racehorse I have ever seen that betters what Pride of Jenni did.

Absolute nut case....what a horse Jenny is...never seen a horse can sustain such a sustain speed for a long way. This remind me of the winx race....ONLY the legendary Winx managed to chase a long tear away leader...but even Winx probably only 15 length away....but this is double 😱 and they are no winx this time.

Terrible race riding by all the other jockeys If Mr Brightside had stayed 5 or 6 lengths closer during the race Via Sistina would have finished over the top of her. Just goes to show how slow the tempo usually is in Australian middle distance races Just jog for 1400m then sprint It’s why the European and Japanese horses are far far superior

I had a quick look at the last couple of years she beats adyabb and verry eleegaant by 2 seconds. Good horse I think aussie racing doesn't have much answer for racing style like this atm. The jockeys need to try sharpen up I think
