Pride of Longbridge, The Biggest British Car Show of the year held at Cofton Park in Birmingham, In this Video we will be walking around the show and seeing what interesting vehicles we can find!

The two early 75’s (V149LOE and S544AOX) belong to myself and my other half and yes we have spent a hell of a lot is hours rebuilding the green one to get it back on the road. 12:19

Thank you! and yes i will haha! maybe try and get some Civic handles they are the same but i think the thing that breaks on the 45 ones are a cheaper part, they cut costs on later on down the line.

Well done Joe. I was hoping to go to POL this year unfortunately it wasn't to be. Its great that i can get to still see the show through the effort s of yourself and others. I very much appreciate the videos and i know it must take up an enormous amount of time. You said at the start of the video there was" lots to see and may not get to see everything but that's how it is." Your quite right the most important thing is that you get to see what you want , its your day and you need to enjoy it as much as you can ,anything else is a bonus for us viewers. I think you concentrated on the right things. Quality is better than quantity. Seeing the wheels on the V8 covered in mud and up the back door in some way made me feel better that i didn't go in one respect but i would have loved to have been there. Thanks again Joe and i will enjoy looking at the other videos you have done.

I spent some time chatting to that chap with his lonely dark blue 25. He said he saved that from being scrapped. His first Rover and it was a 1.6.

S544 AOX is a pre production prototype and V149 LOE was some sort of management pool car.

The Rover 75 V8 Tourer at 13:45 is duo-tone Raven Black over Bacchus Red, 1 of 1 and the only duo-tone V8; Bacchus is a monogram flip paint. It's a verk dark Red that turns Purple the more sun it gets. Probably the rarest car there as only 16 were made and only 7 of those were RHD!

It was a great day out today i really enjoyed it, the colour of that 75 @ 13:44 almost looks like aubergine, not sure what the proper colour name is but its a sleek but interesting colour

The 75 V8 tourer (a very rare car) was originally owned by John Edwards and started life in monogram Chatsworth. It was sold through smc rover and bought by a funeral director who had the car repainted in Raven Black and Jaguar morrocan red. I understand it was sent to MacNeil's to be repainted. As i understand it he felt the car not appropriate in the colour and was thinking of changing the colours of the vehicles in his fleet. Hence the colur change for the v8.
