Pride Park Stadium, Home of Derby County Football Club, by drone

I visited Pride Park Stadium on the 29.7.22 to take a good look at it by drone.
It is another one of the great UK football stadiums ticked off my list.
Here is my video of Pride Park Stadium, home of Derby County and I have shared some facts about the stadium and club too.
Its a magnificent stadium with a fantastic history set in a great location.

It was opened in 1997 by Her Majesty The Queen. It is the ONLY ground she ever opened. The club is now in good hands with David Clowes. Nice review.

My local team, they've just been bought by a local business man, so they aren't in administration anymore. I think it holds about 33 thousand.

My favourite old school stadium is Hillsborough, it's a absolute giant. Huge stands and it looks epic under floodlights

Sunderland was the subject of two really good documentary series on Netflix. It's a tough fight back up the hill once you get relegated to a lower division. I followed Sunderland a few years back when Asamoah Gyan played there.

I remember being in the funeral car on the way to the crematorium for my dad's funeral it was solem and very quiet we drove past pride park stadium and my sister in law turned to my mum and said look bren that's where dreams are made to which my mum replied yes Costco which is down the road from pride park stadium the whole car burst out laughing including the chauffeur she knew how to break the silence god bless her should of had that on her headstone when she passed away two years later.

Interesting. I remember my only visit it was possibly our first game there. We lost 1-0 or 2-0 Wanchope scored for them. I think. But what I remember is it was still new and looked like there was nothing around it strips of grass and parking. I was wanting to see if anything changed as that was in the late 90's I think. No..doesn't look like anything changed. I am surprised.
