What a gentleman. Hope the fans get the success David Clowes deserves. I'm a few years older but David's memories are similar to mine. My first year of properly going to games was in the third division. Great memories. Would love to buy you a pint or three some day David.

I the 70s derby was very successful and I think people saw that and got on board but obviously liverpool and Manchester United were still more popular

First and foremost, thank you mr Clowes. You have saved a historical football club and taken it out of messy hands. Every fan owes you a debt and untainted loyalty. "Picking up a bag of sweets from the corner shop!" The simplest of things with his dad, proper memory building! Please dont hound this man, he should be able to sit where he wants!!! Thank you and we will stand by you forever. Up the rams!

“Buy in”. THAT is exactly how a leader leads a football club. Getting buy in from everyone means everyone marching in the same direction with passion and commitment. Mad respects! I can’t be prouder of my football club.

When you say 'buy in' does it mean we all have to give some money? Would a pound each a month be enough?

Very experienced business team and a solid company. Also, importantly, family rooted in Debyshire and clearly genuinely cares about the stability and long term future of Derby County. This is the best possible outcome for this great club and I can only wish David and his team the very best. In Liam and his coaches, we also happen to have a very talented group looking after the playing side too - very impressed with the balance between experience and youth coming through on the playing side. 31, 000 loyal fans for a season opener in Division 1 ? Brilliant !

Good not have asked for a better guy. Certainly more trustworthy than CH but at least we dodged that bullet. DC knows the history of the club, George and Hector my two favourites as a kid. Hopefully he can get us back where we belong and beating Forest 4 - 1 again. Good start yesterday.

Fake account that has no content at all a little like his brain. Why people create comment accounts without revealing who they are shows their intentions that are sad and have no part in football.
