Most rappers gear is fake. Just like the rented cars, mansions, etc in their videos. Most don't make very much money from their "music". Surely the jewelers are in on it and ensure the buyer only resells the items back to them so there aren't fakes popping up attributed to Rapper/Jeweler. And the "artists" certainly are going to play along as they don't want people knowing all their gear is FAKE.

Bus down and iced out watches would not be considered cool more crass in the UK.
