I would love to get a Choice node between Psychic scream and mind bomb. Also Prayer of mending could give like 4-6 insanity so it is utility wise usable to prepare for combat at least. Also make Power infusion cast on others be only 25% effective so it isnt that forced to take it. I also dont like mind games as an ability. I would love to see more covenant abilities (Except the kyrian one for priests) for classes not just 1 for each and somehow some classes get 2-3.

Prayer of mending just doesn't belong in the class tree when all the supporting talents are in the holy spec tree. Swear they build priest as a healer first then try to ductape the shadow part onto it sometimes

When it comes to the class tree, I think there are three really no brainers that need to be implemented. 1) Add Silence into the tree, easily accessible by all specs. 2) Add Door of Shadows as a choice node with Angelic Feather. 3) Address PI and Twins so that we are not constantly being balanced around other classes benefiting too much. I personally would like to see PI be self cast only, with Twins being turned into something like "Rally of the Sun Priestess" and become a mini-lust for the party, something like 5% so that it is a small benefit that is desired, but not in any way ever something that trivializes content. As for Vault of the Heavens being a choice node with Leap of Faith, I think the unfortunately that would become one of those talents where you just always take Vault over Leap. As said in the video, Leap is already so niche, Vault would be far more useful most all the time.

I'd almost prefer a 24 second single target dispel to this iteration of MD. Choice node maybe? How about: Sheer terror; every time a target affected by your psychic scream takes damage, reduced the CD of psychic scream. So like, they're broken out but you are rewarded by getting it back earlier. But for Spiteful you'd really prefer them to quickly get FAR away from you. I guess, "runs away in fear, then gets rooted/slowed" would be the perfect thing. idk if it's Smolderon's room, but when I'm ressed there after wipes it often just burns my Angelic Bulwark

Just thinking out loud: Mindgames: Make it work like (warrior) spell reflect, the next spell cast by the enemy is also going to dmg themselves, and/or if cast on an allie your next offensive spell is going to heal the allied target according to the damage it deals to the enemy. Mass Dispel: Choise node, either reduce the Mass Dispel cd based on the amount of dispelled debuffs or "Mass Power Word: Shield" the affected players for X% of their HP. Translucent Image: 20% Damage reduction Phantasm: Choise node, fade removes roots or get Spectral Guise Void tendrils: On cursor AoE (like Death and Decay), Make them slap (only) moving targets and reduce the hit target's movement speed by X%. Void Shield: Shield yourself for 1Hp, but you next offensive spells' damage for the next 4 seconds adds X% of the damage dealt to the shielded amount. Remove Crystalline Reflection, shift Angelic Bulwark to it's place. Make new cap node that also make the next damage shielded target takes to be staggered for the shielded amount, after any shield is removed. These things would promote pro-active defensive gameplay with absorbs / shields, and make spells such as Void Torrent to have synergy with off-healing.

Hey Publik! Love the video, but I gotta ask what the talent build on the spec side is for? I know you mentioned you were specced for more utility in M+ in the video here, but I don't see anything like this on icy-veins or in your recent M+ video. Is this a niche specific dungeon for a specific week type build, or is experimenting without Mindbender kind of looking like more of a possibility? The damage charts look like you kinda popped off, so I'm intrigued haha

Its somewhat of a footnote in the Icy Veins guide here: www.icy-veins.com/wow/shadow-priest-pve-dps-mythic-plus-tips In heavy trash focused environments on Fortified you can also drop Mindbender and Inescapable Torment to get both Mastermind and Screams of the Void. This alteration is particularly valuable inside Black Rook Hold, Everbloom, Throne of the Tides, and Waycrest Manor during Fortified weeks. This gives you a boost in damage above 4 targets for a small loss below that.

Mass dispel would be mandatory against Fyrakk if it was back to its old value. I mean mistweaver is good anyway so it's not annoying to have revival but it's not just M+ that heavily benefitted from it, raid did as well. I think the nerf was too big but the old value was too low as well. A middle ground could maybe work.

They should add to the class tree Disp, Silence, Boon of the Ascended + talents after it for CDR, Unholy Nova + talents after it for summoning the guy. Remove Mind Games

Casual and not evne currently sp main passing through, but i will add this: I really disslike current form of applying aoe. Shadow crash is so boing and in some cases not reliable(same problem with earthquake with ely sham). I always liked more dot spam with vampiric on 4 max 5 targets. And if theres sht ton of mobs, then mind sear. Also i was sp fanboy since tbc and what i liked most was shadow form and overal shadowy theme of this spec. Nowdays its all void and tentacles, not saying that it is not cool, but i miss little bit more identity of pure shadow, dark, vampiric shit. Excuse my english and good luck into next expansion fellow shadow prists.

Im having high hopes for Shadow Priest on next season, cause is the ONLY DPS i like to play outside tanking '-'. On S3 im playing some good old Guardian Druid and now going to VDH (cause its BROKEN), but i REALLY WANT TO PLAY SHADOW AGAIN ❤️

You should play around with holy nova, it's stronger than people think and it's spammable. If you weave it into your rotation and only click it when it's got 20stacks of the buff it'll do more total damage than void tendrils would if you've also chosen that end capspell. Like if you've run a dungeon and looked at overall damage at the end

The value of void tendrils is mostly in the insanity gain, not the damage. For the global of Holy Nova even at 20 stacks it is not worth it since it gives 0 Insanity.

Some survivability would be nice and yes the movement. Sadly, I find myself too slow and squishy when I play a shadow priest :( kind of like a glass cannon with a long ramp time, which is lacking damage in this patch =-) maybe its just me

Honestly would like a shadow talent that replaces PI makes it self cast and makes it stronger than PI. Shadow crash should apply dots to everything it hits but only damage up to 8

The fix for PI is to revert the recent nerf, remove Twins, and replace it with a new talent choice that reduces the effectiveness of PI (To what it currently is) but, makes it a 1 minute CD so that you can either have PI with Void Eruption or PI with Dark Ascension. Having 2 minute PI with DA is awful for M+

Personally I find the class tree kinda underwhelming, it doesn't have any utility which feels satisfying to press, the capstones are kinda boring and a huge chunk of the tree feels either irrelevant or unreachable due to the talents in between. It might just be me though, but I find mindgames a really underwhelming button to press, void shift/essence devourer are too specific, angelic bulwark is pretty weak and twins has just become a burden for the spec

Even in pvp noone cares about mind games, it used to be scary in shadowlands, now its a joke. Or even Apethy isnt used ever in pvp. The spec fucked up from all sides and i gave up hope that blizzard even cares. They rather buff mage again and blame everything on SP for "exodia" comp
