I haven't watched the full video yet, so I apologize if this is addressed and I just missed it. I believe that using AI in this manner is very, very dangerous. LLMs are highly addictive. They create a sort of pseudo-relationship: an AI model always sounds empathetic, discreet, and smart, plus it looks safer to talk to: it won't judge you, it doesn't have any expectations or feelings whatsoever, and you can just discard it when you're done. However, AI at this point has zero notion on how the human psyche, social networks or emotional connections actually work, and if you treat it as a mentor/therapist/friend, it often gives rotten bad advice. There have been people who killed themselves because their addiction to AI isolated them and changed their perception of reality to the point of no return. Imagine lonely and desperate people forming a pseudosocial connection to AI "Jesus".

An AI, while mouthing all the right words, can never share the experience of being a sinner the way a priest can. A priest is human, and therefore is susceptible to temptation and vice. A priest can feel remorse. These are all things AI can't truly experience. That is why AI should never be a substitute for a priest in a confessional.

This is disgraceful - it makes a mockery of the sacrament of penance. No machine can absolve; you need a real priest for that. What keeps many people out of confession is the embarrassment of telling their sins to another man. Which is one of the purposes of telling your sins to a priest and resolution too. Anyone can talk to a computer so I can see the positive reviews of it from users.
