Update* For those who wonder where are they: Mikey (the vocalist) had some bands after Priestess (Uncle Bad Touch and Beat Cops mostly) and now he's a father who still makes some music. Both Dan (the bearded guitarist) and Vince (the drummer) works with soundtracks, and Vince Nudo played with Kurt Ville some years ago, Mike Dyball (the bassist) played in a garage band called WetMetal but I think they disbanded.

Yeah honestly I really want to know too. I have their records hanging on my wall, probably my top favorite band ever... yet still have never been able to figure out exactly why they split up... I know at one point like a month or so around when they broke up one of them expressed that it was because they didn't believe the material they had for a third album was strong enough... surely that problem would have disappeared after a year or two off... sad

Diamond Volk They are on hiatus but not broken up. in 2012 their record label cancelled the release of another album. They are looking for another label but also doing side projects...according to Wiki.

One time I opened for Priestess in Halifax at the Pavilion in 2009 when I was 15. Iron Giant was on that tour too... all those dudes were rad as fuck. I’ll never forget Vince Nudo, the drummer, warming up backstage doing some nasty rudiments before the gig.. the best single pedal drummer I’ve ever seen- EASILY. -Jake G.

Been looking for this song for a long time. I heard it on xm radio back in 06 and had it download on my computer for awhile after that. But then my computer crashed, I lost the song and forgot the name of the band. I was trying to decide if I should go out on a date with this girl I just meet and wasn't sure and then this song came on. I thought it was a sign when I heard the words talk to her. We'll be married 5 years this Nov. and we have 2 kids. All because of this song.

I normaly hate music made after the 90's. But this song was one of the few that I loved! I love the way the lead singer delivers the lyrics in a descending scale with noticeable pauses between the words ( a prime example of this is @ 0:35 ). I also loved the "UGH!" @ 2:01 The lead singers
