This may or may not be what others are talking about, but imagine what would happen if technology and science were to continue to be developed infinitely. First, we'd populate the solar system, then the galaxy, then the local cluster, on into the entire universe. We'd be able to talk with each other and move through the universe instantly - even faster than light. Now, imagine that every corner of the universe were alive with life, augmented and enabled by technology; what that universe might look like. I imagine it as being not entirely dissimilar to the inside of our heads. Such a universe might be considered 'self aware'. Then, imagine that that universe gazed outside itself. What might it see? I would like to think it would see other universes in similar states of development. All this is enabled by technological ascendancy. Eventually, consciousness will create god by this method. This god might have a messenger, perhaps even sent through time. The Omnissiah. The messenger of the tech god. ALL HAIL THE OMNISSIAH! But yeh. Heaven's real because we make it someday, probably, if we survive as a species. Even if not, some other form of consciousness will do it. The principles of science are...hehehe...universal.

this piece is fucking great, amazing artwork choice and the sheer weight of some of the sounds in this. I dont know a word for it, but this echo at 23:01 just gives a real impression of large emptyness. It's inhuman and although there's no sense of being chased in the music here, you clearly get a sensation of danger from how distant things are from civilization
