You guys are the best in demolition in the industry. I love how you put so much emphasis on safety since this is not an easy job and is very dangerous. Keep up the great work and you deserve all the awards and commendations that you receive in the industry. Much success for the 2023 year. All of the company deserves all the awards since you work harmoniously in your jobs that you do. I enjoy seeing all the employees working together as a whole to make sure everything is done safely. Keep up the great work!!!!

Whoever decided to add a waterline to the end of the boom is smart. However I feel like it nozzle should be like a shower nozzle to spray a larger area

I think it is code or requirement for most job site in the Western America. Or it is just because close to residential. I’m doing formwork for a new Canadian tire in BC and the excavation crew keeps watering the jobsite to keep dust low even the asphalt/concrete crusher has a water sprayer. Couple of days ago they brought in a uge ski hill type blower but they didn’t use it yet. I am wondering for what purpose it will be 😂 to give us outside A/C 😅??

Once the demolition work is completed and the land becomes vacant, my memories will also disappear. What kind of buildings were there along this road that I pass every day...? No, was there ever a building on this land in the first place...? Like that…

Why wouldn’t you just drop it with explosives ? Seems like it would cost more to run this big machine.
@Gorbukoki
@Gorbukoki Жыл бұрын
Demo by explosives is way way more expensive than most imagine (not discounting that you may know that), and the local impact is significantly greater from the dust/debris. Them also not having plans for how the building was built could complicate the demo by explosion/liability.

The red mile doesn't connect downtown Calgary to Stampede Park. It runs through the southern border of the Beltline to stampede Park. Obviously this person doesn't live here, or has problems with Calgary geography.

OK. So tell us WTF is the beltline?? It was in the news about the C train expansion plans that Smith cancelled. LOL.
@spencermatthews5942
@spencermatthews5942 3 ай бұрын
@GordoGambler the Beltline refers to the tramline that served said area over 70 years ago. The neighborhood just held the name after the rails were removed, and the service ended. This has zero to do with any future Ctrain expansion or cancelation!

10 years ago in Edmonton the old 8 story Mayfair hotel was being torn down this way, it was right beside DT Jasper Ave. It had a steel structure though. So they were chipping away from the back while the HEAVY front face was still there. I rode my bicycle lots and went thru the covered sidewalk a few times during this. The last time I was looking at a lot of nothing holding the front up and thinking I should say something to the MORON engineers. Next day It collapsed onto the avenue. Luckily no cars were there at that moment. Sure saved them time tho. LOL.
