Skip the bag and make a kydex sheath, you can find out how on KZbin. I recommend not using the heavy magnets and just turn it upside down. Amsteel is better than the WE straps because it’s quieter lighter and you can make it to whatever length you prefer. Genesis 3d also has a clip you can hook onto your saddle that could hold 5.

If you’re going to put the ropes on them, I feel like you might as well get the WE stepps. Hear me out... For your 8 Chinese steps, bag and ropes, you were just under $100 for 8.. maybe another $10 shipping for the ropes from WE. For a set of 8 WE stepps ready to go, $128. Maybe another $10 shipping if you can’t find them used.... which can be easily done on Facebook saddle/mobile groups. If $30ish bucks is going to break you, then you probably aren’t in a financial situation to be dropping money on mobile hunting gear to begin with. Don’t eat out for a couple weeks or cut back on tobacco use for a month (if that’s your thing). Sell that old climbing stand in the shed. Drink beer at home instead of at a bar....My point is that it’s easy to find $30 even on a college ramen noodle budget. Some guys on Facebook got offended by my logic, but in this case it is so much easier to buy an American product made by veterans than to skirt the edges and save a few measly bucks.

On this one I took the more expensive rout with the ropes. There are cheaper options as well. I would point someone towards the WE steps also, but people are looking for budget options, so here is a review of one. If someone wants to use the $35 dollars they saved to buy a tag, or buy some gas to go hunt, then great. If they want to instead use that to support WE, then by all means go for it. I'm not here to tell anyone how to spend their money or how to set their priorities.

i bought 12 Primal steps for 70 bucks. spliced my own rope…. wild edge for same price is 216 but why do you care what anyone does with their own money? ive got LW lock ons w sticks and I have a few chinese jobs… i hunt several places, my wife and son both hunt, and sometimes im ok w sticks, sometimes i one stick it, sometimes i use steps, i use my saddle either way. im sure you have a house and car that is made of 100% US made materials too right?
