This is the scariest and most sorry I've ever felt for a zombie. It's not a mindless brain eating entity, it's a literal infected animal trapped in a state of feral, and in an empty body.

It's a sickness thing. He killed all of those dinosaurs in a "rabies" like rage. They're not turning. Evidenced by the bite that turned him, he kicked the little dinosaur and it hit so hard the body broke, and it literally couldn't go on (didn't keep crawling on, despite an intact skull). Brain (eye) went back to normal in the final moments, almost leading to believe this is a single monster itself, passing from host to host, and leading the host down a genocidal path of self destruction (can't find no more, transfer to a different host) Numb to pain, numb to damage, but not numb to death, it seems (also weird that the eye goes back to normal like it does, in the final moments, like there's some kind of magical origin to this sickness). This thing is just about like all the other monsters Spear and Fang have defeated with fire, desperately destroying its current host as it tries to infect one of them to continue on.

@@landonletterman831 dont know man. The big thing is surely in pain by watching it to the last second of the episode and it seems resilient but it keeps screaming all the time. Its either because of the plague driving it nuts, the wounds it sustained, the organs deteriorated, the brain put past or beyond its limits, breaking the laws of its physiology or all of the above. Good thing it died in the molten lava but who knows how many it got infected or were infected prior to this poor thing's demise. I think this plague can only be active on one creature at the same time, that would explain why the parasaurolophus died just after it infected the sauropod. @@neomorphdestroyer3383 that's not how viruses work especially if we're taking something like this one it seems to be based on rabies witch spreads through saliva and from what you can see in the full episode this sauropod gets bitten turns then during its rampage it falls off a cliff and gets stuck in a area where it can't move but it brute forces its self into a bigger area tearing of a huge chunk of flesh too the point you can see bones and this some how means that the one it bit couldn't get up and go on its own rampage.

@@LightRaven96 Well this is just a theory, because from what we can see this is not a regular virus at all : after the first infected dinosaur died the thing on his eyes retire , and later we can see the same thing in the eyes of the infected sauropod ( like this thing can "possess" only one host and the original host has to die after infected another creature ). Because if the infection could work on two hosts at the same time then why the first dinosaur died immediatly after infecting the sauropod ? The fact that it turns herbivores into homicidal meat eating zombies scares me the most I mean if you think about normal zombies even human zombies , we already eat meat its not that weird after all but image seeing a cow or a moose eating another animal Honestly that feels more scary than a normal zombie
@flameofthephoenix8395
@flameofthephoenix8395 4 ай бұрын
Not so much, a cow or moose would definitely eat another animal if they're already dead, and they're not exactly adverse to killing either. But normally they don't run around with the sole purpose of murder...

Its kinda equally weird and scary that the first dino just bit the bigger one and died after getting smacked once, this one went on a complete killing spree and, for a time at least, survived getting dipped into lava just to continue on. Its like the virus switched from 'transmit' to 'murder'

While this is one of my favorite pieces of zombie media period, my mind wanders to more horrifying ideas like where did the virus begin? Is that water source no contaminated and able to spread the plague to anything that drinks from it? What would have happened if those others had survived and become infected? I love it.

I wonder if this plague was started by the scorpion devil? Reason I am thinking so, is because the Sauropod was really persistent in pursuing them, and we know the scorpion wants them. Altough then again it could just be the virus that made him persistent.

Anyway, I hate it, and then I look at this and can just imagine the times that I was sick, Bro just imagine you're sick af and you throw up and just comes blood... Thats fucking terrifying.

You have to be atleast alive to get infected, if your life processes of your body stops working then the pathogens can't utilise your body anymore. (well they still can for some extent but as you're dead already, they can't turn you into a 'walking' infected.)

0:44-1:20 -The sound effects really speak to you in their own, haunting way. Even the sighr gives off a feel of intense rage and anger, a pure feral rage that takes out ALL your mental limits and discards them. Edit: More details to speak of. 2:02- None of the herd is effected by the infected ones stomping around, even as it got closer. The herd really trusted each other and had absolutely no fear of practically anything before this. This, this here is where they learn how the creatures they've lived beside for thousands of years felt, how true FEAR of something much bigger, and much worse then itself feels.

No. It seems to be like rabies, so it could only spread through bites. The blood might be able to transport it. But it’s extremely unlikely and rabies needs a host to survive
