sad. ppl who have no idea what they're doing, who did nothing to gear up or prep, can be pretty much instantly 100 on every class. what's the point in levemetes or dailies now? this can get people 90 to 100 in 20 minutes. they've invalidated all other methods of leveling and made it stupid easy. crafting levels are now meaningless and nothing to be proud of.

for anyone doing this now: - do your own bicolor gemstone grind and as you're levelling, get the 93 collectable items for each class that requires it. - you can level from 90-100 on your botanist/miner jobs just gathering the amount of materials required for all of your 93 collectables (in particular rutherium ingots) - you can craft these 93 collectables at lvl 90 until lvl 92-93 and then turn them in. the amount it takes to craft for this nets you 80% of your levels. you get to around 96-98 depending on if you used REVISED CRAFTING MANUALS which you can get with purple scrips. even at HALF EFFICIENCY they give you a flat 75% extra exp. - it takes around 75 collectables to get from 90-100, and the 93 collectables REQUIRE THE LEAST AMOUNT OF BICOLOR GEMSTONES TO MAKE.

Yes this is literally a scam. Content creators create guides using "cheap materials" and then sell a stockpile materials after inflating the price. Literally every guide that involves buying a material is like this.

Yeah I'm not sure this method is a great idea atm. Anything bought with bicolor gems is just exploding in price right now, and supply is not reliable. Some things run out and go triple or more in price. I am however making a lot of money by just leveling on the middle crafts and selling them to the people just trading gil for levels. Also the starter deliveries in tulyami are non trivial xp as well.

@@Primalliquid92 Definitely not recommended for NA servers, things are still pretty rough there with most intermediate mats costing 7k+ per atm (leather even higher at 10-14k+). Even as someone with hundreds of millions it feels like a waste. I'm doing it the old fashioned way of manually gathering 999 stacks of mats and using them to level w/ Netflix lol. Free + you get to level your gatherers with it.

Yeah, I did the math for 60 Chromite Alembic (armorsmith), and for the Chromite Ingot would cost over 900,000 gil and 300,000 gil for Lar Ingot, lol.

You have the best guide for this because you literally just recommend doing the first collectible. All the other guides are extremely annoying and tedious and they tell you to do daily GC turn ins as if we need a guide for such an easy basic thing like that lmfao. But yeah letting me know the exact amount that I need is super helpful I really appreciate that pal. Using a tool like teamcraft to see every material I need to go and collect is such a nice thing as well, so I can basically just multiply any material by the amount that I need to make

@@MasterOfNintendo99 no it isnt these matts are drying up super quickly. there are several other crafts you can do that save gil while taking a few more crafts but being much quicker to just gather yourself.

The method still works, but prices have gone up a lot for the materials and the materia is less valuable now. As usual. So not sure I'll do that for leveling my crafters, at least not right now. I'd have to do the math to figure out if it's still worth doing from a monetary PoV, but I'm too lazy. There will likely be custom deliveries and tribal quests to level my crafters in the future.

I'm using an indigator set from EW with splendor tools and my old Purple script macros don't do the job anymore for 91 materials. I'll try your Maco and see if I have better luck. :edit: and that Macro worked perfectly, you get a sub.

At this point, the prices have already risen by an absolute ton (my server is showing 20k per craft for just the first item I looked at alone). It will still work, but it's so expensive already. You'll want to farm out the mats, or expect to pay far more than you earn now.

prices fluctuate alot each day, one hour they can be 500 a craft or 50000 a craft, just have to keep checking and buy when cheap. mostly gatherers dump there mats every hour (when retainers finish aswell)

Id be VERY surprised if you sold the materia that you can buy with the turn ins and didnt manage to make money off of it. Materia is selling for a lot right now. If its cheap for you, i would say buy it up and sit on it for a bit. That price will skyrocket in a week or two.

This guide will be great for later on in the expansion for us but at the moment this will just make people murder their wallets.

Not worth it on NA servers. Mats never reached the point of being dirt cheap and you're still looking at 10-14k+ per leather alone with the rest of the intermediates hovering in the 7k+ range per item. As someone with hundreds of millions even I wouldn't sink my money into this because it feels like a waste. I'm just leveling the old fashioned way atm by gathering 999 stacks and bulk crafting w/ buffs to get to 100. Free + you get to level your gatherers at the same time + it's future stockpiling. Anyone who has pentamelded EW gear also shouldn't need to upgrade gear at all until level 100 for either DoH/DoL.

nobody said anything about upgrading gear and if you're buying leathers directly no wonder its so expensive, on odin for example the leathers are over 15k each, the hides are below 700gil right now

Cheapest stack is around 1k on my data center. Ultimately irrelevant now as I've gathered everything manually but thought I would provide the insight.

I ised only collectables (and pbviously the exp you get while gathering) and managed 90-100 for both MIN/BOT in a few hours. There is pretty much not break in the up time once you hit like level 94 or something.
