You don’t have to eat the 5% tax. Speak with the Retainer Vocate and ask about tax rates. Every week there is a chance in a city to not pay any tax. Setting your retainers to any city but the starting three will automatically lower to 3%.

The only problem with universalis is you need to look down at the server listing because someone else bought it for the n0.1 section & usually n0.2 or even n0.3 are still up for sale & the differences are not that vast, maybe 5-10 or even 20k upcharged for some things like equipment.

KZbin algorithm be wild because I was telling my Static member how i used this to make gil since he was wondering how my alt has 100mil without omni so I showed him that I just did that good old zoomer thing of flipping

the datacenter travel information for some reason gets super quite, very hard to hear anything from like 14:16 maybe a bit earlier. 17:20 the outro seems fine again. That aside, nice vid.

Yes, I lowered the volume because I recorded that section with BGM on, and the music was blowing out my eardrums while editing. I didn't want to cause this on someone else.

@@mrbonjangles4408 You just start with cheaper items. You don't start with an item that you can buy at 10m and sell at 15m. If you can't afford the investment, you can't afford the investment. You start with an item that you can buy at 20,000 and sell at 40,000. Then you move up to more expensive items as you can afford the investment.

@@mrbonjangles4408If absolutely nothing else, you can do roulettes as the adventurer role in need each day; the raw gil from it is actually not that bad for someone getting started, but the clusters can be used to buy materia to sell. Also, completing your challenge log tasks, doing Hunt trains (particularly ones for the most recent expansion, again because of materia you can sell) and retainer quick ventures. There are a number of different systems that can be more efficient, passive, or that fit into a larger overall strategy, but these are where I'd start if you want something with as little set up work beforehand as possible.

True, it is a bit of a time sink. I tend to do it when I don't want to actually engage in other game activities, and I'll just watch something on my second monitor.

Make number go higher. I just enjoy farming gil. Having 400 mil also allows me to make help guides because I don't need to make anymore. So, I don't even think about ruining my gil farm exp.

I've been doing it for years, and I'm not the first KZbinr to bring this site to people's attention. Most people are lazy, and won't bother server hopping.

I agree. This is literally like a side job, and playing the game is already a job. I'm willing to try this for a bit, but I'll get burnt out and go back to being a regular buyer, haha.
