I'm on the road with 2 dogs who I spoil and love dearly. I love watching you do the same. There are waaaay to many abusive or absentee pet owners in this world, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
@harrymills27704 жыл бұрын
It depends on how you spoil them. Most dogs are overweight and out of shape, thanks to their owners' "love." A healthy dog usually looks too skinny to please its "parents."

Yeh Mike I have been watching both your and Jason's channels for 6-8 months. Your channel has been great and I love your Dads also! But something about Jason videos. He captures the beauty of the wild and his background music totally relaxes me. I was just watching one of your vids and you mentioned Primal Outdoors as one you watch. Can't blame ya! Between the 3 of your channels I can't wait for winter to finally break so I can get out into the outdoors. Mike, Good luck from across the pond (Michigan) and Jason keep up the awesome videos.

Great video as always. As the amount of gadgets for camping increases, I enjoy how you camp simply and employ the "common man" mindset. Even with a RTT/trailer combo, the truck seems unmodified and your set up is very solid. Bushcraft is cool and fun, but so is just regular camping. Inspiring for the average guy. Thanks again all the way from CT

I normally prefer boondocking, however I have found that I really do enjoy campgrounds during the off season as well! It is so great, and nice to have hookups, especially having electricity when it is snowing. I have a little portable electric heater I use and it keeps me and the pups nice and warm! Zero degree sleeping bags are a must! I used to camp in the snow with my tent and always stayed nice and warm with my zero degree sleeping bag. Down comforters are nice too for added warmth! Love quick trips just staying in the back of my old 4 wheel drive suburban! Again, great videos! I am glad your channel popped up as a recommendation, I am really enjoying what you share!

Be prepared to freeze if you camp out at Camp Hale out-of-season. I used to like stopping there for sentimental reasons in early May on my way across Colorado, because Dad did his ski training there in the '50s. Usually woke up with new snow on the ground and a freezing 3-season tent, which was only good for a windbreak, by the time it was vented well enough to keep the ice off the interior. But nothing tastes better than a hot coffee on a freezing morning. The saying in Colorado is "There's no such thing as bad weather. Just bad equipment." I endorse this wisdom.
