Wasn't till they removed my gallbladder did they take my symptoms seriously and was diagnosed with PBC,I'm 40 male and the disease has progressed into cirrhosis, painful way to go folks .Just wish someone would've listened to me and taken me seriously and now its to late.side note this Dr is awesome and explains it alot better then anyone has.

ucda can improve lfts . h/p . ç/f . reduces progression to cirrhosis by 7 to 10 yrs . and the need for LT is reduced

Too bad my former doctor was not aware of this, ...instead of non treatment, and assuming that I was an alcoholic and my pain was imaginary.

Is this the same thing as PSC? Primary Schler. Cholangitis?

no . there is scarring rather than destruction of bile ducts and mostly involve bile duct outside liver but can also involve intra liver ducts. treatment is different n so is prognosis
