My rule of thumb is its worth as much as you can sell it back for. If you sell it aftermarket will you get 100% of its value back

In Japan the 2-pack runs for 572,000 yen, which is about USD 3,700 with the current exchange rate. As a US based (potential) buyer, not sure how I feel about 5,000…(or 5,300 on the square enix site)

I bought the Cloud because there's barely any statues of Cloud to begin with, so no choice. Sephiroth however has plenty of nice looking statues that look just as good if not better than P1 for an honest price, so I'm buying unlicensed for him. P1 Sephiroth looks nice, but it's very lackluster for the price.

Why do some companies put such heavy prices on their licenses. It just hampers the accessibility of their product. Some might discover Final Fantasy through other means than video games.

$5,000 for 2 1/4 scale statues is insane. Even if they were 1/3 scale that would be ridiculous. The license must be ridiculously expensive.

This looks so good but at that price point it would be tough for me to get in on these. I would need to unravel most of my existing POs on the 1/6 scale front which I just can't see taking so many NRD Ls. Just based on the measurements and a quick comparison it looks like (1) MAX 140+ moduspace case would do the trick to house both of them (wing config on Sephiroth) which if you don't have one is another $600+ shipped easily. Can't wait to see these in your collection Will in a few years. I'll have to live vicariously through you.

It’s insane for sure I got the bundle for $5000 waited a while for these…As for shipping I never have waited 3 months for boat I have ordered plenty with p1 and most I’ve waited was 1 1/2-2 months and that was with covid after covid on average 1 month I am in NY USA. So economy is the way

Only way I buy this is if it’s on sale. For the people buying it right away… WHY??? They literally will have it up for months before announcing the edition size. Just wait. If it’s a super small ES, then I can see the price being justified. But this is the MOST POPULAR FF of all of them. A LOT of people want to buy these. But man, these prices are GRAIL statue prices for 1/4 scale. Value just isn’t there

Cheaper to buy Cloud/Sephiroth bundle then purchasing DX separately. The FF6 1/6 statue had an edition size of 600. Probably going to be much larger edition size for these FF7 statues. If Prime 1 does the entire team it'll easily cost like 35k to 40k total 😬 Barrett is going to be huge!

Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 🎅🏻 collector! Excited to see you get these and review. People need to realize Prime 1 is expensive and Prime 1 doesn’t care. They cater to a specific market and don’t apologize. I’ve rarely heard of P1 QC issues or poor representation of any character. Interested to hear Dean’s opinion. He mentioned in a live chat that he would sell things to get these. Do you see yourself canceling HT figures coming? Also people need to stop asking others what they do for a living or how much money they make.

My bank account will be crying but I probably need to get the Cloud & Sephiroth pair. Before the price was announced I was also considering Zack but like with you, not gonna happen anymore with these prices. If Prime 1 does Aerith, Tifa or Vincent, I'll be considering those for sure but depends on their price. C&S are my main ones though. I have Dragon Studio's Sephiroth 2.0 statue which is pretty cool as it is but still none of the statues on the market just get even close to these in quality.

I had Prime1’s 1/3 2B from Nier on preorder but after seeing the QC issues and overall price, I cancelled the order and took a loss on the NRD but tbh I would’ve been pissed off and most likely lost more money if the thing arrived damaged so I’m gonna pass on these and just collect FF7 characters in 1/6.

Nah, that Terra/Tina statue was a work of art. The paint job alone blew these statues away. If have the money and was forced to pick only one (Cloud/Sepirothvs.Terra), I'll pick the Terra one even if it's a smaller scale. It definitely won't look small anyway.
