Prime Cup: Poke Ball (Round 2) - Pokemon Stadium

Welcome to my walkthrough series of Pokemon Stadium! In this playthrough, I will cover the gameplay of all the Pokemon Stadium Cups (including Pokemon Stadium R2): Gym Leader Castle, Poke Cup, Prime Cup, Pika Cup, Petit Cup, and the final showdown against Mewtwo: the final boss of this game! Prime Cup (Japanese: ウルトラカップ Ultra Cup) is one of the four Stadium Cups in Pokémon Stadium.
In Pokémon Stadium, the Prime Cup is the only Cup that does not originate from Pokémon Yellow's Colosseum 2. Instead, it is based on the regular Colosseum battles, which have no special limitations. As a result, all Pokémon, including powerful Legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo, are allowed. There are no level restrictions in the Prime Cup, so all of the opponents will have level 100 Pokémon.
This is the only area in the Pokémon Stadium series where Mew can be used. In Pokémon Stadium, the male Cooltrainer will have a Mew during the final battle of the Prime Cup Master Ball division. Also, Mew will be available as a rental Pokémon for Pokémon Stadium's Round 2 Prime Cup.
In Pokémon Stadium, there are four levels of difficulty: Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball.

WHY did you have Onix use Explosion? Just have it use Earthquake. Voltorb is an Electric Pokémon, Onix automatically has the Type Advantage.

Okay…let's get something straight here. Articuno is and ice and flying type. Onix used Rock Slide. That was a great move. But…why did it survive and your Onix didn't!? Isn't Articuno 4xs weak to Rock Types!?

being 4x weak doesn't imply an instant K.O articuno have very high defenses and Onix is a pretty weak pokemon.

Onix has 45 Base Attack which is not enough to OHKO it with Rock Slide. Articuno has Base stats of 90 HP and 100 Defense.
