Costco has the base M4 Mini for $500, and the base M4 Pro Mini for $1270 from November 18 - December 2, 2024. I picked up the base M4 Mini. They had plenty of them.

Love the MS add in the pre-roll :-) OK, I had to comment on the USB-C vs Lightning port. I just bought a new Anker 30 10k QI charging brick with an integrated usb-c cable. I havent gotten rid of my iphone 13 yet, so I need a dongle with a tether for it to be useful. Especilaly given they gave up shipping their products with pouches, I have an exposed dongle sticking out of my portable charger. It's annoying... not a lot of money but an annoyance.

@ I think the market isn’t big enough. They might have to compete with price on other docks that are selling to the general customer. These customers might not know the difference between 10/40 gbs. So keeping price low to sell to the customer.

One Apple user may have iPhone, iPad and Mac and their family or friends the same amount of devices but that can’t sync among themselves on a private peer mesh network??? Really? Users have been requesting none “iCloud “ sync forever by email and feedback app to get truly personal private secure syncing archiving and backup 😢 we need to demand easy p2peer all users can use.

It’s inexplicable as to why Apple has chosen to neglect Siri since its release, it’s definitely overdue for a substantial upgrade to its usefulness and capabilities as we move further into Ai technology. I’ve seen recent reviews of the current available A. Intelligence features and many either are not useful or don’t work well at all and skepticism is mounting for the usefulness of the next suite of A. Intelligence pending. Apple clearly has more work to do after all the hype about A. Intelligence. I believe it was a reviewer on CNN who gave a scathing non favorable critique of Apple Intelligence. MKBHD was also not impressed with most of the offerings

I have actually said that Apple is a bit behind on Ai in my videos and they are. But I feel in a few years they will be ahead and they are normally slower to market with things. Either way I don't really use it that much personally and I would rather have less Ai on my computer than more. But that is just my opinion.

Apple products and devices are expensive to help them maintain their $3trillion valuation + they have a corporate greed model and predatory pricing, the EU is now reportedly focusing on Apple browser requirements, they may focus next on Apple’s predatory pricing for upgrades

Im talking specifically about the EU’s focus on Apple and making them give concessions which they have done since & if they want to compete in the EU consumer market, I’m not concerned with cost of Louis Vuitton & Ferrari & neither is the EU, these are not assets, & are not something I would ever buy, they are luxuries, a computer, however is almost a necessity in today’s world & since I am invested in the Apple ecosystem & prefer their products but I object to their corporate greed, overpriced upgrades, & predatory pricing. It’s ok to make a profit but not ok to gouge customers.

I don't like it either but you do have choices and can move to Windows. That is and should be how the free market works. I hate $200 hard drive upgrades for sure and if Apple changed that to $400 for a 256 GB upgrade I would stop using them. But right now the cost is worth it to me and I think the governments etc should stay out of that part but I think we are agreeing on a few points and no need to go back and forth on it.
