I have a question, is the entire Little Office in Latin uploaded on this site? Before heading to seminary, I have been wanting to pray the little office in Latin , but I don’t know how to read square notes, so the link you have attached makes that achievable!

That's beautiful to hear, Michelle. God is good. I've recently recorded Vespers, though just by myself. I'll have to work on getting the children to sing it with me. The idea of 5 psalms and a canticle is daunting, but I think it could be sung in 20 minutes.

Lovely. Your voice is clear and beautiful and I love hearing your kids chant with you. The baby was my favorite part. I was thinking "St. Therese sang these." And your baby said "I have a flower!" 🥰 Daily prayers are for everyone.💝

Thanks for your comment. This is a good representation of our speed, which is a bit fast. We might be a little faster than average being a little worried about the recording. Most recordings are from a monastic setting where the pace of life is significantly slower. My mother is always saying we should slow down, and she sings at Maternal Heart Church which also tends to sing a bit faster than average - they're livestreaming on Facebook and worth looking up, their recordings are only staying up for a week. Probably if I was aiming for something really contemplative and perfect, then yes I would sing slower.

We only sing prime each day from the little office. We sing compline from the divine office each night. Unless we sleep in, then we sing Terce instead.

The office is based around the hymn Hail Queen of the Heavens - I can find two different tunes for it in my hymnbooks. I can't see any youtube videos of this particular hymn though, so sounds like a good idea. Here's one version of the sheet music in case it helps: hymnary.org/hymn/ToCS1915/171

Just noticed the tune I linked to is very famous for the hymn O Purest of Creatures, a German tune. There's a slightly simpler tune which often gets mixed up called the Lourdes Hymn. I think you could base your singing from there.

to be honest this is great i appreciate the time put in for this God reward you but i think you are too fast this is the only video that has it the exact way and i have recommended many to this channel but one feedback i do get is the speed don't forget people use the video to pray i know is for just educational purpose
