How amazing your videos are. Too few people sing their prayers not knowing how much more it gives. You makes it much more manageable to learn for all - God bless you for that. I could not imagine not singing while praying in Latin. I do have the benefits of a formal training in Gregorian chant having sung in a Gregorian choir. You have a beautiful voice btw.

Thank you Dana! Thanks for supporting me via udemy and for your kind comment. With the feast of the Annunciation coming up I will need to make some more videos soon.

I wanted to thank you for these videos!! I am devoted to the LOBVM and I put a lot of work into finding the correct accent markings, and recording my own chanting of the office as a resource to help others who wanted to learn it. Now that I've discovered your work, which is more complete than mine, I can happily share this and your Udemy course with them. God bless you and keep up the good work in honour of our Blessed Mother!

@@VeronicaBrandt yes, I recently bought a copy of the Little Office of the BVM and then thought, what now? I found your channel shortly afterwards and I’m very grateful for your efforts. This has made my learning curve much less painful, and actually enjoyable. Thank you!

Thank you so much for guiding us through Vespers. I really appreciate you taking the time to pray with us. Do you have any recommendations for learing latin? In Jesus and Mary, Many blessings. PAX

I've been working through Latin by the Natural Method by Fr William Most at kidschant.com There are lots of great resources available. Also, a priest in Melbourne has been having a weekly Latin reading group during the covid19 weeks. I'm realising how little I know!

Thank you very much for this! My book (Baronius Press) doesn't have the tones for the actual psalms, only the antiphons. This was incredibly helpful as I could not find the psalm tones anywhere else. Thanks again! God bless you and Mary keep you.

Thanks - it's always great to hear people using my booklets. There's a great psalm tone tool at bbloomf.github.io/jgabc

Thank you so much for these uploads i learned a lot..prime, compline and vespers..would you please upload the one for matins?
@VeronicaBrandt5 жыл бұрын
Matins - going for the big one there! I should be able to. The Te Deum is great, and the hymn has the same tune as Prime. The psalm antiphons are easy. It's more the first introductory psalm and then the Responsory things towards the end that I'm unsure of. But once upon a time I did sing them.

I've edited the book a bit since I made this video. The latest versions are always available here: littleoffice.brandt.id.au Sorry, I just realised that I had missed listing Vespers on that page. I have fixed that now.
