so now that prime is no longer doing company drivers... how does one go from student- to lease operator with no idea what the heck they are doing?

@@johnwolf1475 that’s not true I was a company driver psd trainer and just switched back to solo leasing. Prime put hiring company drivers on hold because they were restructuring dispatchers within the fleet. They are now taking solo lease drivers. FYI I didn’t know anything when I started trucking and went straight to lease the first 2-1/2 yrs

I have my cdl and tanker endorsement, I applied and talked to a recruiter. Is tanker only 3-4 weeks out 3 days back?

My trainers were great at Prime almost 20 years ago.........not for me, especially in tanker. I just can't sleep with a student driving.

Our head of maintenance told us that it was always temporary just to get us going. But, yeah, dispatchers preached it to everybody. Keep rolling on young man! Oops! Young Men!

I live in Springfield MO so when I go home I drop off the student at campus inn which prime owns. Free bed, tv, showers etc
