Hey Rex! This is my first year as a trucker driver. My company usually runs me up to the northeast every week. I was never coached at all on winter driving. Do you his that switch that looks like it locks in the drive tires and just leave it there when conditions are bad? The only thing I’ve been told is to avoid the Jake Brake. And of course slow down but that’s a given. Be safe Rex!

I drive for a reefer company based in Texas that offers 10k for every driver you refer. With your subscription base, this could be beneficial for you. There is no cap on how many drivers you refer so the skys the limit. If you're interested, let me know and ill shoot you the details. Also I'm real, currently in New Jersey, they are experiencing their own version of the movie Independence Day with all the drones flying around.

I worked at prom from January to August of this year. I can tell you that I lived off savings I made OTR the year before while I was at prime. It averaged around $3,000 of expenses for my truck the least I had at the company prior to them was only 1300. Yes prom was very expensive and they make you pay for a lot of things, but I did get my highest grossing loads at prom. However, it definitely was not consistently high loads. I'm local now but I'll be back otr next month cause I miss the money

Ya been driving now for 2.5 years and I LOVE my job. Its hard to stay away from work lol finish a 14 hour shift and already thinking about the next shift. It's such an amazing feeling doing something you love!
