I’m in the state of Georgia and want to upgrade my CDL from Class B too A. Do i have to just take the combinations and my road test and inspection again? Or do I have to take all the knowledge tests again plus the inspection and road test stuff?

I’ve got one year left on my second lease at prime reefer division. Considering switching to tanker when I finish. Curious on what your settlements look like week to week. Ballpark.

@@skidzrowtruckin1804 my first full year leasing with tanker my NET after all expenses was 105k. 2023 my NET was 117k. I average about 2200-2300 miles a week. So us tanker guys run less miles than reefer. Hope this helps!

Everything I haul is used to make the dry dog foods. Like chicken fat, beef tallow, inedible eggs etc

Hey man I just that problem and thermo king found that something was mounted on the harness from apu and drained my batteries from alternator over charging batteries and then apu went out and blow mother board

Sounds like you’re having voltage regulator issues. Commonly derived from failed alternator.

As a former otr trainer its stressfull i know how you feel and its decent money in it and its a crap shoot with the trainee you will get a good that willing to get their training done and you will getva bad one who you have to stay on to get their training done. How i use to do it keep from getting burned out i would take time off afterwards i get done training a trainee and drive by myself for a couple of weeks before I got a new trainee its not fun doing back to back trainees

4 batteries all dead? The truck Electronics run on 12 v or 24 volt? 4 batteries mean that a massive starting current is needed for starting the engine.

Nope but i was confused me when they asked if I wanted them to replace the batteries. Lol. I’m thinking yeah you need to replace them. “I’m a company driver so I’m not charged anything for repairs” that’s on prime

But the recruiter told me I’ll only be able to drive flat bed “which I don’t wanna do” I’m trying to drive tanker. So do you think it’s possible that if I do come I’ll be able to tell someone while I’m there I don’t wanna do flatbed I wanna do tanker and they’ll let me

I hope they quit hiring for a while. I’ll have one good week then I sit the next just trying to cover fixed costs. It didn’t start doing that until the last couple months for me and I’ve been here over 4 years.

Mostly the Midwest we have 4 accounts out west. The west coast runs are for team trucks and trainers on the tanker side. 1. Just outside of Los Angeles CA 2. Ogden Utah 3. Sparks NV 4. Outside of Portland Oregon

Document everything, get yourself a digital multimeter learn to use it. Unfortunately you can’t trust anyone, you have to verify. If you go with the attitude that it’s not your job, it will quickly become your problem.
