Was once number 10 at Benfica; hence, not a natural number 6. But, he sure is imho the most complete 6 in PL history. I have yet to see a player of the same mould as prime Nemanja.

There's a really interesting story, a guy from my country (Serbia) went to London at that time, and bought a full package tour when visiting the bridge, including the locker rooms. In his words, he saw multiple tables of Mourinho with drawn actions, and on most of them there was Matic in the middle with multiple arrows around him, obviously, he was a key player on the pitch most of the time, which is actually crazy because that team was stacked with great players and guys who were much more attractive and visible, Nemanja was just another one doing his job, and yet, for Jose he was so much important.

Yo se que sin duda el mejor 5 de la actualidad es Rodri y que para la mayoria de los jovenes el mejor de la historia es Busquet, algunos menos diran Casemiro. Pero para mi equipo siempre eligiria al Matic de 2014 a 2018 mas o menos creo que fue su mejor época, tenia un poco de calidad al estilo Busquet, bastante de guerrero al estilo de Casemiro y el resto era netamente de su propia esencia
