Neymar is the best dribbler of all time. No contest about it. Sadly Neymar never had opportinuity to show off his full potential consistently. He had a lot of injuries and interrupted his progression by leaving barcelona. Neymar was the only player of his generation who had the potential to sit at Messi Ronaldo table. His level in 2015 was insane. He was even more demonic in training. Barcelona was the perfect place for him: a LOT of mediatic exposure, a club competing in a major league in Europe, with an offensive football style, and incredible culture to promote young talent over physicality, a familly like club, with an history, completely opposite to PSG. Neymar would have become an absolute world star, taking over aging Messi, winning 3-4 ballon d'ors particulary these recent years where the competition is low. Now, he has become has-been star of PSG. A club with bad reputation and no morals, no history. He has become undesirable on the side of barcelona. He is never referred as a legend of the club, rarely invited to veteran gala's. Eventhough he is still stopping by barcelona. Money is not everything Neymar.

Hello, sorry but 3 important things about your comment: 1. Neymar left Barcelona for Paris in order to be the number 1 star of his team. It was part of the progression: showing that he could deliver et win without Messi. Paris wasn’t a bad choice in itself and he reached a C1 final during this period. He just lost to the nightclubs and the restaurants as many others before him. 2. Describing Barcelona as waay more ethical or moral than PSG (or any other club) is just nonsense. stop that. 3. Well, I personally feel Neymar has a better flair than Ronaldinho in his dribbling. It looks more natural and he manages to get past players easier. Ronaldinho could not dribble as directly as Neymar did. Maybe the reason is the height. Neymar is almost 5 cm shorter than Ronaldinho

They can change direction more effectively and their dribbling movement are more smooth. Look at Maradona, Messi, George Best, Garrincha, Pele, Johan Cruyff, Baggio, Hazard and Neymar. R9 (183 cm) and Ronaldinho (181 cm) are the only tall players who were very good at dribbling. But these two players are exceptions.

To some extent Neymar was unlucky due to the reason you mentioned. Like for instance in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was great all those years, but Messi and CR7 were also having extraordinary seasons. So, Neymar managed to finish third behind Messi and CR7. Then after 2018, Neymar has only himself to blame. There were some seasons where Messi and CR7 were not having their best seasons. Neymar did not avail those opportunities to his benefit. Modric and Benzema managed to get their hands on Balon dOr. Even Lewandowski did that in 2020 if not for the cancellation of the ceremony due to covid. Neymar was also a bit of unlucky that he was playing for a club which lacked winning culture and mentality. Vinicius is just a good player, but he is nowhere close to Neymar in terms of technical abilities and as a overall footballer. However, he is lucky that he emerged during a time when Messi and CR7 grew old and left. Hazard retired and never lived up to the expectations. Neymar got destroyed by injuries. Bale also retired. That’s why it’s not convenient to compare Neymar and Vinicius. The level of Vinicius’ competitors is very weak as compared to the players Neymar, in his prime, competed against.

Messi is more efficient, but Neymar is way more fun to watch. Messi just happened to figure out the ¨timing¨of basic dribbles, while neymar and ronaldinho created new dribbles. Comparing Messi to Neymar is like comparing EA sport Fifa with Fifa street. (never saw messi try a chilena, rainbow flicks, reverse sombrero, etc...) Some people get hung up on just winning... and I get it. I want my team to win, even if they scored a shin goal. But if I am going to pay $200 to go watch a game, I wanna watch neymar/ronaldinho.
