@kendraroth1276 Not really. Shadow is more of a stoic warrior who has a tragic past but doesn't let it get in the way of doing the right thing as he promised to Maria. Nothing like Nine other than the tragic past.

No, it's because together it's difficult to give anyone else something to do. They're both too strong. Makes sense to find ways to temporarily write him out. The alternative would be to make him weaker. Every scene he's in he's shown to be competent and as strong as Sonic. That's all that's needed.

You forget that the kid, Sonic put his trust in is endangering everyone's existence for his own personal gain. Sonic and Shadow's world got erased along with there friends, think about that for a second. Can you really blame the guy for feeling that way? Nine killed there friends and destroyed there world instead of fixing everything back to normal. By the way, Sega removed the age so nine is just nine now and not a kid, lol.

It doesn't matter if nine seen them or not, the point is by him not helping sonic at that moment, nine destroyed his world by going against him and the other dimensions may be next in line.

To be fair, we don’t know if Nine meant to destroy the other shatterspaces. He believed he had completed the shards, but he’s still missing the piece that is in Sonic. That’s why it’s unstable. That’s my theory anyway.

Nine is pretty much a villain at this point. he wants to reshape that dimension he is on to his liking, he probably isn't aware of the other verses ripping apart because of his tampering. he don't even see sonic as a friend anymore, but as a mere tool to help him continue his selfish plans.

So yes, Nine has become a villain, and I’m excited for it. But his actions were understandable. And it’s Sonic’s fault for making him think he finally made a friend only to make him feel more alone than ever.
