@@shadow759 there is at least SOME proof in the show that sonic cares about his friends the biggest pieces of evidence i found are mainly well his goal of restoring his home and friends of course and him only attacking eggman in the first episode of season 1 only AFTER eggman insults tails like sonic goes straight up bipolar there one second he is his normal chill self the next second if the power acceleration device thing wasn't used it would almost convey that sonic wanted to straight up kill or brutalize eggman or something like that which i can someehat relate to since sonic and tails canonically have a brotherly type bond if my little brother was being insulted by someone i'd probably react the same way sonic did and to add to that once sonic realizes he wronged tails and upset him he immediately heads to his lab to apologise to him its things like that that i count as proof he cares for his friends he is just not that smart at times

At the very least they made him take the mission seriously when needed so he's okay. Shadow on the other hand is his stereotypical Ow the Edge the hedgehog, most of his character is just "I hate everyone, everyone sucks, friends are cringe, teamwork is gay, I just want to be left alone with my thoughts on edgy things" I just miss old Adventure to Heroes Shadow. This is funny though

@@KgEclispe252 Honestly, I don't really hate cocky sonic that much. It reminds me of the Satam sonic a little. And shadow's character isn't just ow the edge here. You're thinking of Sonic boom and pretty much everything after 06 excluding maybe the Sonic X cartoon. He's shown to be capable of reason in Sonic prime. After his battle with Sonic, he didn't have a mental breakdown and start cutting himself out of pride. He chose to work with Sonic despite being pissed. He doesn't think everyone sucks or teamwork is gay. That's just fanfiction inside your head. He's just skeptical and realistic about Nine. And he had good reason to not want to work with Sonic. I'd bet shadow has a relationship going on with rouge in this show, but that's just speculation. From what we have actually seen of him, Shadow is acting more Shadow-like than he's been in over a decade. Your assumption that he hates teamwork and is a lone wolf homophobic hater of friends is unfounded from what we've seen of how he worked together with Sonic against the Eggmen after it was established that they WERE working together. And Shadow getting so mad at Sonic for destroying their world implies that he had something or 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 to care about.

@@mostlysure1077 Oh trust me I give him the benefit of the doubt about working with Sonic he's a lot of different from how he is previously that I can't blame Shadow for scoffing when he has to work with him. But still look at the previous games he didn't mind teaming up with others even when he wasn't in good terms with Sonic, it just reminds me of how new Shadow is where he scoffs at the idea of working with someone. But that's the thing if Shadow does have a relationship with Rogue why didn't they show it like in the scene where they saw Sonic friends stuck in limbo he just scoffs at it with "ew cheerfulness" which to be fair to Shadow it was kinda true. xD I would have liked it if he saw Rogue then turn around to Sonic about what to do next. It would imply that he's worried about Rogue but nah. And yeah that was my favorite part seeing them work together in the last battle reminded me of the old Shadow. I really hope you're right I'm hoping the last season will at least see what are Shadow motives and stuff. Honestly at this point Sonic friends is what saving this show for me and the writing.

I’d say Shadow is perfectly justified to be pissed at Sonic throughout the series. Due to Sonic’s recklessness, recklessness Shadow directly warned him about, all of their friends have been split across dimensions, Shadow has been stuck in avoid for an undisclosed amount of time with nothing but himself for a company, and Sonic destroyed Maria’s world. Now, I’m not saying that make Sonic a bad character, quite the contrary, I think, giving him character flaws and having the show be because of that recklessness is a pretty good idea. I’m just saying Shadow is completely justified and how we treats Sonic in Prime and I can’t help but side with him.

I feel like this is partly Shadow's fault because instead of explain to Sonic what was about to happen he went for the attack I mean during there first fight in Sonic Prime Sonic was trying to use his words to handle the situation. Shadow wasn't doing that he was more focused on trying to hit Sonic.

Honestly the show did good since they avoided the egg council going into the void till in the last few episodes to get the crystals

Unpopular opinion but this show sucks action wise and script wise. Really wish we had more dramatic action, maybe some bruises and or soft blood/scratches, cause every hit looks like a damn pillow fight, well except for when shadow hits for some reason.
