Deion Luwynn Sanders Sr. (/ˈdiːɒn/; born August 9, 1967), nicknamed "Prime Time" and "Neon Deion", is an American former professional football and baseball player who is a sports analyst. He played 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and the Baltimore Ravens. He also had a part-time career in baseball as an outfielder for nine seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), where he played professionally for the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds, and the San Francisco Giants. You can’t knock someone that designs and carefully hones his own image and speaks and wills a fantastic future filled with unlimited potential and skill. If he’d been around now a day’s, he’d no doubt accumulate wealth equal to or surpassing Floyd. Deon created the blueprint for athletes from then on to begin to be more flamboyant, loud, outspoken, unapologetic, and cocky. Don’t get me started with homies style. Started fashion trends that were imitated by many. Swag for days and backed up his shit talking. Hate him or love him…hell of an athlete that excelled in not 1, but 2 professional sports. Love this. I know Deion from FSU. We were in the same freshman class of 1985....I will say that Deion had this cockiness from day one. Something that wasn't mentioned is that Deion had a car already when he came to school. It was a copper colored Transam or Camaro. Rumor had it that his white, high school girlfriend's father had bought it for him. He also had a moped that he rode around campus. He was an A hole from day one ,so that was not a persona that he created while in college. He stole my Ralph Lauren plaid fisherman's hat out of my room and never gave it back.. Nevertheless, this brings back memories.

I was NEVER a Falcon, Dallas or 49er fan, but I remembered watching him on television as a kid thinking, I want to have as much fun in my life as he was having!! Still a fan of the guy.
