नमस्कार रवीश जी ! मैं यहां अपना दृष्टिकोण मीडिया के संबंध में रखना चाहता हूं | मेरी शिक्षा लगभग हिंदी माध्यम में हुई है, जिस कारण मेरी पहुंच मुख्यतः प्रिंट मीडिया के हिंदी स्रोत तक ही रही | उस वक्त तक मुझे पता नहीं था कि यह जो कुछ न्युज मेरे सामने आ रहा है वो सही है या गलत | दुसरे शब्दों में कहा जाए तो मुझे वह सब कुछ उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा था, जो मुझे अच्छा लगता था | लेकिन यही वह स्थान है जहां व्यक्ति को सतर्क हो जाना चाहिए क्योंकि यह जरूरी नहीं है कि जो आपको पसंद है वो सच भी हो | अपने देश में ज्यादातर लोग सच्चाई तक कभी पहुंच ही नहीं पाते हैं, मैं इसे मीडिया की सबसे बड़ी असफलता मानता हूं, मुख्यतः हिंदी मीडिया की | आज के समय में मैंने हिंदी प्रिंट मीडिया से पुर्णतः दूरी बना ली है, इसके लिए वो खुद जिम्मेदार हैं | यह सच है कि अंग्रेजी अखबारों को पढ़ने और समझने में कुछ कठिनाइयां आ रही हैं, जिनको दूर करने के लिए शब्दकोश का भी सहारा लेना पड़ रहा है | लेकिन मुझे सबसे बड़ा दुःख इस बात का है कि देश की जनता को धोखा देने वाली यह मीडिया आज भी अपने आप में परिवर्तन लाने में अनिच्छुक सी प्रतीत होती है | फिर भी मैं आशावादी हूं क्योंकि आशावाद ही परिवर्तन और लोकतंत्र का आधार है | धन्यवाद!
