It works fine in Cubase as it is ARA enabled! Just because you can't load it it your DAW does not mean it's s#%t.

Hey Sean and Dan! How about reviewing a gate for once? With BOZ digital labs "Big Beautiful Door 2" you can EQ ""open" and "close" signals separately. Just try it and thank me later. It's just amazingly versatile.

It came as a vst3 but i use audiounits so i chose not to install lol wtf lads😂 abit annoying how long it takes to load audio, maybe better than rx for the clean ups imo

I wonder if this would replace RX for voice over cleanups etc. But even then, you’d eventually mix a voiceover with music etc, so end up in a DAW anyway. Guess we’ll wait and see when a “live” version comes out - and - if it actually works as such, without having to render it for the Ai…

In defence of this, I can see this more as a pre-mix/editing tool rather than for actual mixing. Basically, it’s about making the vocal as “mix-ready” as possible and *then* you incorporate that into your mix. But yes, anything that uses any kind of vocals will benefit from this =]

Not that it's an ideal solution, but Blue Cat's Patchwork should allow running VST3 inside AU. Launch the AU version of Patchwork and then the VST3 version of any plugin inside that. It might be fiddly to automate but at least it could be used inside a project live to some degree. Patchwork is a very useful tool IMO and worth a look.

I'd like to suggest the Gem series plugins by Overloud. They have some of the usual suspects (1176, LA2A, Fairchild) etc.. Overloud claim that the amount of the analog aspects can be separately controlled to make the plugins either more clinical than the originals or more analog than the hardware ever was. That could be interesting. They have occasional sales with pretty fair prices.

haha thats sums up 2024 lots of rushed ideas really! theres been some good stuff but like Apple Intelligence, we seem to be paying fir unfinished products. I think it looks really shit for a company. It was bad when we became beta testers now it feels like we are on the way to pay before its finished in any sense. I might as well set up my own bunch of develpers and tell them what I would like them to make for me ( me being dramatic of course).
