Pretty cool U sub. I got the same result keeping u = 2*sin^2 x. By the standards of Integration Bee this one looks quite easy I guess. Anyway your alternate ways to solve this cool integration problem is highly motivating for anyone, especially to calc 2 students. Keep going on Mr Newton.❤

Why do we want to find the Inverse and the Determinant? I am taking Linear Algebra next semester. What if the Determinant was equal to Zero? What does that mean? I messaged all the people doing this type of problem, but no one responded. Can you please tell me why we need ti find the Inverse and the Determinant? If you can make a video about it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You

x/(2+sqrt(x+1)) Use u = 2 + sqrt(x+1) Convert integral into u world, and then you will get a simple separable polynomial. My final answer is 2/3 (u^3) - 6 (u^2) + 22u - 12ln|u| + C Where u = 2+sqrt(x+1)
