Yeah I love him too. I remeber watching Sin City the 1st time and listening to Marv's inner Dialog and I thought to my self that his inner dialog sounds like my own. I really related to him which is why he is my favorite thing out of the whole movie and the comic.

Yeah I related to the character so much and he quickly hit the top of my list, in my opinion that dialogue was probably one of the greatest monologues ever performed on the silver screen, I'm so glad they chose Mickey Rourke and he will return for A Dame To Kill For next year, I don't think anyone could've pulled it off like he did, I love the character so much and I love Dwight too, he really is cool, but Marv, the character, the emotion, the badassery, just everything makes you love him.

MKN4EVERR All I'm gonna say is, if you haven't seen it yet, Potlocker, Sin City 2: Dame to Kill for, the best fucking film I've ever watched I got more of Marv than I coulda ever imagined, I got excited everytime he appeared which was basically every scene in the film as cameos, I loved it!!!

Ahahahaha yeah you know right, we're gonna see Brolin and Rourke in the same frame and that's just the start of the story I'd hate to put spoilers on here so I won't say what happens but it's gonna be great on the screen and post re-construction I think if I remember correctly it's gonna be Clive Owen and Rourke which I'm looking forward to so much and Marv even has his own story I think? As well as introducing some new characters to the film, but they are basing it upon 3 stories from the novel

I know right, Dame to Kill for with them in their roles....gonna be great, although I would have loved to have Clive Owen for the full role of Dwight, especially as he and Marv share a storyline and having read the story I understand why Clive can't play as Dwight but I wish they had just given him make up for the pre-construction instead of another actor, because I really liked Clive as Dwight but I'm here to see Marv he's who I am gonna be lookin out for most, I hate waiting for it though aha

Yeah I agree Josh Brolin isn't gonna be bad but I would have love to have seen Marv and Dwight in the same frame. If I remember correctly Dwight and Marv were basically BFFS, and I would have loved to see their chemistry on film. Although I will say this if they so much as tweak Marv's look... Robert Rodriguez will cease to impress me.
