I love how this is the only car restoration that I've been emotionally invested on, there's just so much personality and depth with this series that I can't help but feel invested in car which feels like a character in of itself. I also like how you're restoring the Fiero not because its a cool car, but because of what it means to you, which completely adds to the experience. I showed this series to my dad who works in car restoration and the first thing he said was "Who the hell restores a Fiero?". Goes to show just how much the car means to you at this point. Thank you for bringing us along for the emotional roller coaster that has been this car restoration!!

I love this series. Reminds me of rebuilding a wrecked Mustang with my dad in high school. All of the same steps (other than the engine work - the 5.0 was still running great,) but the interior, body, and paint work. Sanding... SO much sanding. But in the end, not only was every flat surface in the garage slightly pink (like yours is about to be - all that red overspray,) and not only did I have one of the coolest cars in town, but I had the priceless experience of getting to know my dad at a level that probably wouldn't have been otherwise possible - we just didn't have a lot in common, but man we both loved working on that car.

Who'd have thought after working on my own restoration all day, that this would be my favorite way to relax. You are a credit to KZbin and anyone discovering love of old cars and restore them.

And after the paint, there is the polishing and after that, there is the detailing... ;)

... and of course after all of that there will be an almost immediate mechanical issue. Always! 😡

Love this series. Never figured someone would restore a FIREro since they were basically throw away cars after they burned to the ground. But here you are getting it done. The best part of this series is watching how you tackle repairs.

Held off watching this for several days because I thought it was the last one. Now I'm happy.

When seeing how bendy and flexible your bumpers are, it reminded me about a lot of cars from that era who's paint would start to form little cracks. - I guess there's some type of flex-agent that needs to be added to help prevent that with those types of bumpers. I'm sure you already knew that, but wanted to bring it up just in case. - Love your series, keep up the good work.

Just like a good series on Netflix: You both want to see how it ends and don't want it to be over. (ex: Ozark)

if you do this again, i recommend filling in the divots before the primer so you get a good flat surface when the primer goes on, otherwise the filler can sink and it will be visible through the paint.

I AM an old man but didn't realize I'm being so in loving and using luggage racks!? I have accessory removable racks on my 2000 BMW Z3 and my 2017 FIAT 124 Spider as I always travel with a real, matching spare wheel and tire when I go on my frequent cross country drives. Those cars also have no room in the trunks for a tire!?! And I have permanent luggage racks on my 1978 Thunderbird and my '85 Mustang LX 5.0 ... all bought new. I've tied all sorts of things on them to transport the stuff ... rolled up rugs, minor building supplies, etc. LUGGAGE RACKS FOREVER!! ;-)
