I saw the animation first, so I had a fondness for the story already. The movie I believe could have been a little better done, but overall it was enjoyable. I'm waiting for the English version to fully take in all the aspects of the complete show since I find it hard to read dialog with the proper inflections and not miss out of a lot of acting cues that make a movie stand out.

This was pretty good when compared to many other adaptations, but I must point out, changing the rock throw to a bow kinda loses some of the newfound strength Shinichi has now that him and Migi have fully bonded. The bow still shows what Migi can do, but it doesn't show what Shinichi can do

Isn't the eyeball aliens in the hands from a Stephen King story? Not complaining, just wondering if that was credited in any way. The person who had the eyes on his hands (in the story) also had unusual side effects. Yeah, it's from a short story in one of his book of short stories, titled Night Shift. Night Shift is also a short story IN the book as well. If you like this story, you'd probably like that book.
