I am so thankful for this video! We went to an estate sale today and I looked at the cleaning products and bought 8 containers of sealed Amway laundry and cleaning products for $6.50. I also looked in the bottom corner of the bookcase and got a collection of Sears Wishbooks, 1970’s paper doll, coloring & music books with great graphics all for $6. Expanding my niche is getting easier! Thanks Dom!

I can't believe the prices. I live in the WA and OR area and prices are sky high. Even Goodwill is out of control here. I can get brand new at Ross for same price as a Goodwill item. Anyway, you are fortunate to have reasonable prices. Thank you for all your tips.

Good example of being patient and not rushing through rooms missing things. I like and emulate your style. One thing I did was in my boxes or bags I bought a bunch of extra used pillow cases from sales in the past for next to nothing, and use those to wrap breakables in that way you don't have to scrounge for paper over and over. Nice grabs, looking forward to the next sale! 👍

One of your commenters reminded me to pass along one of my tips: Look for assistance from the estate sales team. Have them carry out your items to holding areas & put your name on them. This way they are watched by staff & you have more time to look. I usually purchase Kitchenware & dishes which can be heavy & bulky. Since I’m a short older person, I’m not afraid to ask for a helping hand. I recently purchased a stack of old tractor manuals which I will list on EBay. Thanks for the great tips. I learn a lot from your videos.

@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I figure I went there about 4-5 times back in 2017 as it kept producing for me. Scored a big silver 1907 Barber Half Dollar (the only barber half I’ve ever dug), several other silver Barber and Mercury dimes, Indian Head pennies (oldest 1897), Buffalo & V nickels, a silver Peter Rabbit ring, gold hair barrette, Boy Scout pin… those are some of the highlights

You know Dom, if you had paid attention in Driver's Ed, you might have learned how to parallel park and gotten closer to the house! 😄🚙 I liked the way you had your boxes at first, it was like 'hiding' the contents and keeping stranger's hands out. But I understand the contents were jumbled. Did someone go with you to the sale, seemed like you were talking to someone a couple of times. About how long were you at the sale?

This was totally amazing to me as we don't have estate sales in England. Don't think we are ready for that yet. Reminds me of when I emigrated to Canada and my husband told me we were off to collect an estate car and I was excited as I like large cars. Imagine my surprise when we collected this dinky little 2 door car. In England we call station wagons estate cars and that's what I thought we were getting!

Great Finds Dom. I love antique textbooks & have some in my bookcase from elementary school on up. I also collect antique bibles & poetry. The information on the vintage westerns was great as I wouldn't have thought about them as they were one thing I didn't read, or Harlequin for that matter. I was wondering if the 1959 Rand Macnally maps showed Alaska as a territory or a state as it achieved statehood January 3, 1959 when I was 4 1/2. Great finds & great video as always plus Daisy was adorable 😍.

They hold a ton and they are so much easier to maneuver. Ok I’m off to catch up on your content and find out more about you! P.S. if your content didn’t hook me then the drum line daughter did. I’m a girl drummer too! 🥁

Welcome to the Prime Time Family! So glad you enjoyed the video! I carry alot of heavy books and stackable items including electronics that can be positioned better in a box. Some of the stuff is so heavy that an Ikea bag would not be able to hold it even though they are strong. Lastly, I always joke that the Prime Time Treasure Hunter cannot be seen with a bag. Just brute force with big boxes. lol. Glad you liked the drum line!

Because I can’t get everything, it’s not easy to ship, I don’t do much FB Marketplace, because I don’t want to lug those all over the house, am trying not to pick up big bulky items, and bc I got tons of stuff.

I’ve done well with vintage cookbooks. Do you buy /sell those? Also, first edition hardcover novels. Bought one for $1, sold for $400+. Vintage children’s picture books with beautiful color illustrations do very well too.

Hundred percent yes. But bulk Bettr Homes and Gardens does not do well. In my next videos, you will see examples of me buying and selling cookbooks and buying some children books. If you watch my older videos you will see many examples as well.

I literally can't believe that they were nickel and diming you on the books 😅😅 I would think they would be happy some of them were leaving! That was a lot of books! Too bad they were not novels. I enjoyed the video. Thank you ❤
