I love how Alex looks a bit overwhelmed when he and Henry go out onto the balcony, and how his wave is a little awkward. And then when everyone’s up on stage for Ellen’s speech, Henry’s the one who looks a little awkward. Perfect symmetry, showing how they’re still working out how to fit into the other’s world, but determined to do it anyway, because they want to support each other. Also, Casey’s author cameo at 2:15. Yay!

Perez and Galitzine are wonderful in this film. Much has been said about their chemistry, which is palpable. But neither actor has shown as much heart or honesty in their other work. The difference is the sensitivity of the creative team. Director Matthew Lopez and cinematographer Stephen Goldblatt give them a glowing jewel box to inhabit. With the addition of the intimacy coordinator, Robbie Taylor Hunt, the intensity of the character's relationship materializes on screen. You sense that there was pride and love coming from all departments and that that provided a platform which allowed the two lead actors to become two lead characters that make us laugh and cry and love them. Cynics have attacked the film for not being what they want or think it should be, but that is short-sighted. The achievement of RW&RB is that it is completely what it sets out to be -- a smiling act of hope and love.

I have lost count of how many times I have watched this movie. Being older I must confess that i had never heard of Nick or Taylor as actors before, but they have become two of my favorite actors at this point. Their chemistry reminded me of the old love stories of the 50's like Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart. They are incredible together and this movie has also become a comfort movie to pull out and watch whenever I need a boost.

I find that a real tell. His astonishment that Alex takes his hand in public, and that little smile of being overwhelmed at being allowed to show affection in public, the way he keep looking down at their hands clasped together, as if taking a private snapshot of such a telling - and psychologically releasing - highlight moment in his entire life. And becoming a part of another family. The sigh and the smile as he releases his shoulders; Ooh, I love acting with such detail in it!

I believe the election scene posed another challenge, as it appears to be a single extended take performed mainly by Taylor, in addition to the beautifully Fireside Chat single-take scene executed by Nick. Both of you are incredibly talented and exceptional performers!

Taylor and Nicholas are the perfect cast for Alex and Henry, they are pretty comfortable with each other and their chemistry is soooooo perfect. And, i love how this movie turns out, the book is good, but the changes in the movie makes the movie more enjoyable because they really focusing on alex and henry more And, alex and henry personalities are actually so perfect, and really smart. We can understand them and not annoyed by every decisions they made because it is reasonable and it is the best for them So, they are like the perfect characters, with the perfect story, with the perfect cast

I love this movie!!! I have watched it 4 times in 1 day and I cannot stop. The book and the movie are great. The chemistry between Nick and Taylor is off the charts!!! I laughed, I cried. Totally on board with a new show with these two. Don't get me wrong, I would love a sequel to rwrb. But the movie ended in such a nice happy place, and it was very well made, so it will be tough to keep the quality in the 2nd one unless they take some time to plan everything (Matthew even said that he wont do it, unless he has all the details drawn out/figured out). So I guess if we want something quicker, maybe a different project with these two as leads would be amazing 😁 specially a series.

Nice touch in the script. When Alex earlier "storms the palace" in the rain and they have their contretemps over the degree of freedom to love Henry has or doesn't have, Henry says that he can't be the man Alex wants him to be. Henry uses the same line to the king, only this time he decisively says that he has chosen to no longer be the man his grandfather wants him to be.

I never get tired of this story, these characters nor the leads. The chemistry between Nicholas Galatzine & Taylor Zakhar Perez is WAY too good to waste. While there's no Director's Cut, it definitely deserves 2 sequels & a holiday special: "Red, White & Something Blue" about the Royal Wedding & "Red, White & Baby Blue (?)" about starting a family. The holiday special: "Red, White & Evergreen," with FirstPrince, Percy/Nora, Zahra/Shaan & their holiday celebrations. I'm not getting enough of them anytime soon, if ever. 🇬🇧🇺🇲🏳️‍🌈👑🤠💞💍👶🎄🎁
