The one thing I don't get about Omni-Man is: what's up with the cape? Superman, his cape is Kryptonian, resistant to heat and impact, able to protect Lois and Jimmy and others. Similarly, the cape of Batman provides some protection to civilians when necessary, and confusing attackers. But Omni- man protects no one, and doesn't need protection himself. So what is the point of the cape? A fashion statement?

Usually they shrug these off in fiction, but irl, no matter how durable you are, ionizing radiation is no joke. Your atoms don’t get more durable than other atoms. Like a shotgun through their DNA, everyone’s weak to that..
