Best representation of Hot Rod (more better than SS version). Additional info: His vehicle mode is a WWII German car "Horch Type 1a" However, in the concept arts the character is not this vehicle, it was actually going to be a tank. Specifically a "M4 Sherman" a WWII U.S medium tank

I really like this hot rod design. Glad to see you don't have the broken version that a lot of people have been getting. I originally only wanted bumblebee and hot rod. But after announcing the movie colour accurate starscream build a figure i have to get them all for him. Don't care for the other colour starscream's.

@@johnbro341 I actually got sets of both.......Toyworld's and Hasbro's WW2 Rod and 'Bee, just to see the quality differences and that......I was rather unimpressed with Hasbro's WW2 figures......Vehicle forms that aren't movie-accurate, loose parts, pegs that constantly come undone and parts that fall off if you so much as look at them! There was a time where the Toyworld figures would have been something Hasbro would have made, and the Hasbro figures would have been something the third party companies would produce!

When it came to the Studio Series WW2 Bumblebee and Hot Rod figures, from what I understand, based on what I've read, they went with early concept art designs for their robot and vehicle modes vs movie accurate robot and vehicle forms. I don't recall if it was due to licensing issues.......it could explain it......but if it wasn't due to licensing issues, but out of a desire to go with easier designs to make their figures, it really says a lot about Hasbro's current state of affairs.....Going with ease vs quality........

In defense of these fans lol.....Ratchet and Ironhide are still close to their G1 counterparts with their personalities and alt modes. Its just color change honestly. Wheeljack does look like G1 in the Bumblebee Movie so there ya go. Im just gonna say that Q is a different character. Along with Dino and Mirage being different characters as well.

@@DishonoredSkull in the lore, apparently bee and hot rod were on earth before optimus or megatron. As figures, i think this company is taking the flashback scene of bee and hot rod as wwii vehicles and turning into more characters such as starscream and barricade

All the Toyworld WWII TF action figures have issues regarding tolerances, it's a shame that an OG 3rd party company like TW has issues such as these. I normally don't like the Bayformers look and design but I've been collecting all the TW WWII because I think they're great TF action figures with very good sculpt and paint details (specially the weathering effect). One trick with the ball-joint shoulder is to turn the shoulder completely upside down, and use the bicep swivel to turn the arm back the right way up. This prevents the shoulder from dropping down... but does come with the risk of the weight popping the joint out, and is only good for posing the arm straight out to the side (As you tried to demonstrate).

You should definitely check out the new original first-party transforming figure from Toys Alliance called Frost light as part of their new Arch core toy line it's basically demon Optimus Prime if he was in the Mad Max or Warhammer 40K universe and he's going to be part of a much larger combiner that turns into a giant Berserker mech. The arms of the combiner that are being released in February and January turn into mad max-style cars that can also be giant wolf mounts for the pilots and frost Lights trailer is a giant artillery platform

Anyone know how to get ahold of the Transcraft company? I recently bought the TC-02 Bumblebee and on the passenger side of the alt mode, the wheel well/brake light piece that locks in, is the wrong piece. I have two driver’s side pieces. The passenger’s side is backwards.
