The engine bay looks great.No you need to fill it back up.Before you put the front sheet metal back on,you should give the suspension and steering a thorough inspection.Especially all the rubber parts like bushings.They're easier to work on without the sheet metal in the way.

Glad you're happy! I'm not. I'm all caught up on your videos so now I have to wait until the next one comes up! I'll be waiting like everyone else to see the progress! Great job to you and your dad!! The bay looks awesome!

The Falcon is incredibly good shape compared to most 65s. Do you know where it originally came from?

I believe the tag says it was made in Pennsylvania, but I need to double check.

I repurpose the Amazon cardboard and packing paper as masking paper and paint shields too. Brilliant Job!

You do some awesome work for someone who has no formal training in car mechanics or restoration, and you both aren’t scared to have a go at something new and challenging unlike most young people today. It’s nice to see someone who uses a spray can correctly, with your fingers operating the spray nozzle, not your thumb like others which is so uncomfortable. Best wishes from the uk, stay safe and keep well 👍🏻.

Awesome work. I bet your dad is proud of you. I have one question . How did you get Eastwood to sponsor you? That is great.
@ElliesGarage4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Really we just asked and gave them a plan for our first engine part painting video. Eastwood was generous and took a chance on us by sponsoring a video and it has grown from there. They're really great to work with.

Painless Wiring Harness T-Shirt - Does that mean a future install episode? I'm installing a Painless system in the Vette right now
@ElliesGarage4 жыл бұрын
So cool! Yes, Painless sent a wiring harness that we are working on installing right now! We are hoping to have it on the channel in a few weeks. Happy installing!

15 months later HOW does it look now? Did it last or fail?

It has needed a wash every once in a while, but the paint has held up great! No peeling or chipping. I don't have any pics to post, but if you check out our video from our roadtrip to Falcon Nationals, you can see some shot of the bay when we washed it before the show.
