I remember seeing on river monsters, Jeremy Wade went to this village (not sure where, I believe somewhere in Africa where not many outsiders are accepted) and they were showing him their ways, how they make their blowdart guns and darts to hunt monkeys, I particularly remember one part how they would dip the darts in poison, and catch piranhas and use their teeth and spin their dart around to create a weak spot where it would break, because often the monkeys would grab the dart once it hits them and pull it out, but with that weak spot, when they grab the dart the head breaks off leaving the poisoned head still inside them

Tree sap mixed with charcoal. Basically glue. You can make pine pitch very easily, just recolt pine sap, heat it up in a double boiler and when its liquid as 1 part charcoal for 3 parts of sap. Mix well and you have glue. You can add hair or herbivor poop to make it stronger.
