I have this exact one for 3 yrs now & still goin strong. Never an issue. Mine has a small light under & center. Love love the bottom load for the jugs.

Good video helped out a lot only problem I had was screen holder would not stay in once taken out.I left it out and didn’t experience any problems with it out.

the lights turn on when cooling and heating are active , when the heatingor cooling has stopped they turn off, meaning its ready , i know odd right ? should flash while working then stay solid, mine has 3 buttons but really only use cold

How did you clean the water dispenser at the bottom before you connected the 5 gallon bottle to it?

my dispenser isnt making any cold water? only room temperature, idk if the hot water works i cant seem to get it to work the cold switch is on right now but i dont know how long it takes to cool but before it would only make room temperature water, anyway to fix?

I have 4 years with one and I am having problems with the water it has a slight plastic taste, I do not know why

Hey Abigail, sorry to hear that. I gifted my unit to my parents after about two year and bought myself a new one with a light for my place 🙂. Both of our units are still working great. I just checked out primos website to see if they have any recommendations and they have instructions on how to clean and sanitize the unit. It appears they recommend using bleach OR distilled white vinegar with their process. Check it out when you get some time, looks like it takes 30 mins or so...Hopefully that helps out. @@MARTINLOCZ Hello I just bought one and was wondering if you guys always keep the hot and cold turned on? I don't really get it it always will have piping hot water in it stored as well as ice cold water that can't be good for the seals...I'll probably only turn on the hot before I need it and turn off the cold when I'm gone for days at a time..

I think they watched your review cause I just bought mine this week on Amazon and it has a blue nightlight on the tray, cold and cool eater dispense button and it has a self clean button! Hope it lasts!

A C no... I verified 😒 this model didnt come with a light... its still working strong but i decided to get a second one and leave this one to my parents... they love it...the second model was the deluxe version and it does have a light

Try to shift the bottle around some times the vibrian will make it noisy

Bought this yesterday and it kept on dispensing water by itself. 😔 I got a screwdriver opened the top part and a piece was not put correctly. Did and it worked. Now I have half of water on the 5 gallon jug. 🙄

Anabel Salinas sorry to hear that... Mine is still going strong since day one... I can imagine seeing all the water spill out especially right now when water bottles are scarce in the stores with all this mayhem going on😏 my only regret is only having two 5 gallon jugs at home I wish i would have had atleast 4

@@MARTINLOCZ No worries! I actually fixed the problem, we had to move the tube so it didn't vibrate against the side of the cooler...and then eventually we replaced the motor, and the new one is nice and quiet! :)

sonny kh you first have to slide the red safety mechanism and this will allow you to push down on the dispensing button just like the cold water

If you are talking about the flashing red light in the front that means the dispenser believes your water jug is empty. Make sure you have a water jug with water and in order to reset the light you need to reset the button inside the door by opening and closing the door or pushing it with your finger.... when you reset the light the dispenser should suck up water from the water jug into the machine. Hope this helped

In the past few years I all a sudden got in a hoard of buying these.Why I have no idea.I also put alot of study time in these.I have had these things gutted down to bare bones for cleaning.Which is not easy at first and alot of time cleaning by hand all hoses. I will kindly share this with you.Be careful of parts def the pump.Primo is a ass and will not sell parts and most likely after 2 yrs they remove what they do carry.I work on electronics as well many things.I been in battle with them about parts vs have none to get you to buy new.So, I know that line.I would suggest that you do not circle the water line like that for many long term reasons down road.Do what I do ( yes I have the rattle noise ), take the foam that you put over pipes like copper and slide it over the water line.About a buck at Lowes for 5 foot.Works a charm. Turn the cold side compressor off here and there for a day or so.Let it rest.The compressor gets hot.At a minimum flush the hot cold non cold about every 30 days.Or you will be sorry down road.I use Vinegar straight.Pour it in a milk jug.Let dispencer fill up.Drain cold side then hot warm.I do this about 4 times each.Next water in a jug and do same but about 6 times each to flush vinegar out good.Lastly I take a jug of very hot water and flush all the lines for any Calcium build in lines.Makes it last, good water and no crap in the glass.Should be 100% clear.Plus opens the hoses of any blockage for even full flow. Lastly, run these things hard day in and out and they won't last.To go will be the pump or freon vanishes and cold becomes no cold.

Some side notes.. Heating Element will go on these things.Turn hot side off if not going to use like in summer. I buy these used or new have about 17.I get them about 25 to 50 bucks off pallets.I have the one that is hot norm cold lighted.It has a stainless steel door bottom.Got it new off pallet buy had small dent on side so was a return at 50 bucks.I use that one mostly.Going this week to pick up it's sister a white bottom load hot nor cold sides. I don't know if you are into electronic repair, but you can add a light.I done it.I have one on a remote control changes 37 colors and displays.Shines good on silver.You could do led strips or simply one led bulb any color you want.Course requires getting into dispencer to do it right and nice.Simply drill a hole.Put a round rubber gourment in the hole.Put light in it.Wire it to a toggle switch solder it.Switch to proper voltage to run bulb.Led strip lights on sides of dispencer turn it into a disco machine ha ha.I been there done it all......

Jim T sorry to hear your water cooler failed I guess I was lucky with mine. Its still working like a champ maybe try calling the company and ask about a warranty or something. Good luck with that if you find something better for a similar price keep us posted. Thanks for sharing
