Primo Deluxe Water Dispenser, How to set it up plus review, This thing is excellent. The hot water comes out very hot, hot enough burn you if you touch it, Good to make tea, coffee or any other hot drinks you need to make. The cold water comes out cold which I like because now I got more space in my fridge, no more water bottles taking up a lot of space in the fridge. The cool water comes out cool, I do not use the cool water much. The hot and cold water gets hot and cold pretty fast, so you do not have to wait forever to be able to use it once you get it set up. I also Have a video called "3 Different ways to load the water jug onto the Primo water dispenser without spilling water" so make sure you subscribe and go watch that video as well. I will also be putting up a video on how to clean and service the Primo water dispenser after it has been used for a certain amount of time. We just bought one last Week 6/1/24 this is the best investment we have made so far this year. Last night I advised my wife that the red button was flashing and i was wondering what it meant and when I was getting ready for work the red light was still flashing and I filled up my coffee mug and the water was cold and I was really bummed out because I thought it was broken or something however after going on KZbin and watching the video on the Primo I found out that the water bottle was empty and it blew me away because we just bought the machine, I mean it was a five gallon bottle and it was half full but still i was amazed how fast the water was used , that means that even my lazy kids will use it. I love it keep pushing forward people.

I got two 5 gallon jugs and we go through them pretty quick, I fill mine up at the water machines they got around town. I think it's like a buck fifty. It's saved us money cause we used to buy water bottles and we went through a lot of water bottles, I miss the water bottles sometimes but we got way more room in the refrigerator now. When our older boy is home, a 5 gallon jug will last us two the three days. One thing about using this machine, people realize how water they use just for drinking and that because we still use faucet water to make koolaid. Sometimes I walk up to it and it's empty, I told the wife and kids to let me know when it is empty so I can switch out the jug. I'll be like I'm gonna make me some cold tea and bam! no water. Had to make sure to tell them to turn the switch off if it's out of water and I'm not there to switch out the jug. Glad you liked it.

Yes. I usually go down the road and the machine charges $1.25 to fill the bottle.

I started noticing once I had this for a 2nd day the bottom is slightly leaking, I just bought it 2 days ago 😮Any advice?

@@ImRealSure I just went looked at mine, the back of the unit has metal wire gate and it is easy to look in there with a flashlight, you can see all hoses and you will be able to see which hose is leaking, could just be spilt water or just sweat from the unit being new. Take a look in there and see if you can see any hoses leaking. If it's leaking, return it and get you a new one. I myself will usually fix an item if I can because I don't like going back to the store to return an item. There is also a drain hose in the back towards the middle of the unit, take a look at it and make sure it's not leaking from there. I hope this helps.

I actually went to go return it after I read your comment since it was a defect in the tube and it was causing it to squirt water out every six minutes like a water gun! It’s the first time I’ve ever had an issue with any of the Primo products like that so thank you so much for the advice and keep up the good work.

Is it normal for it to smoke at first??? I connected it and turned on the cold and hot water button and then steam/smoke started coming out?

@@chobani7381 It shouldn't smoke at all. Did you put water in it before you turned on the hot and cold buttons?

@@chobani7381 It will take a little time for the hot water to get hot, you should only see stream when you get hot water out of the machine but not while it's just sitting there not being used. I keep my machine on most of the time.

primowater.com/support/ Is their support number, you can give them a call they might be able to help you out. I just looked up primo water dispenser parts on amazon and if it's the piece i think you are talking about, Amazon sells for about $11. Some say part fits most primo water dispensers.

Not really, but when the bottle is empty it's basically empty, I usually can get one the two glasses of water out of the machine when the bottle goes empty.

Why is the internal plug red?

@@rayw2707 Not sure if I explain the right red plug you are asking about. I only see one red plug on my unit, but I went ahead and explained all four reds I got on my unit to help others who read this comment as well. I got 4 reds. 1. Red saftey switch on top you push back in order to push down button to dispense hot water. 2. Red float in the water tray. This float comes up when when tray is getting full of water letting you know to empty tray out before it overfills and leaks onto the ground. 3. Red Hot water hose plug on the back. The red plug attached to the water hose on the back of the unit is the hot water drain plug. This plug is for draining the water heater when cleaning the unit. Red plug let's you know the water may be hot if it's been on. 4. Red power switch on the back of the unit. This red switch turns on the Hot water heater so your water can heat up and get hot.

@@rayw2707 That is the plug for the water jug cap. It is a special reusable cap you can buy separately so when you put the water jug on the unit the the plug gets pushed up away from the cap so the water can go into the unit from the jug. When the jug is empty, You can reuse the cap by just pressing the red plug back into the hole in the cap. I used my cap about twice because even though I pushed the plug back into the cap, when I turned the bottle upside down to go put it on the unit, water would still leak out of the cap before I would even put it on the unit. The cap did not leak the first time I used it, but after the first use it always leaked. I tried four of them and had the same result with each cap. I got rid of those caps. I find I easier to just hold my hand over the end of the jug and put the jug on the unit slowly without spilling water.
